About JailMine
JailMine is a two-mode network built around Prison and GTA. In Prison, mine through eight ranks from A to Free, improve pickaxes, earn cash, join gangs, and claim a cell plot. In GTA, roam Los Santos, buy vehicles and property, take part in heists, and choose between police and criminal play.
Both modes mix long-term upgrades with player conflict. JailMine suits players who enjoy a clear grind but still want open-world action, trading, social groups, and a large choice of ways to spend time.
What Makes It Different
JailMine combines two very different games under one network. You can spend one session climbing prison ranks and another driving through a crime-themed city with gangs, police, and heists.
Prison servers turn mining into a gated progression ladder: players break blocks in designated mines, sell the resources, and spend their earnings on ranks that unlock more valuable areas.
Prison is the network's main progression mode, built around mining and rank advancement.
Roleplay is Minecraft gameplay where players act as characters in a shared fictional world and make choices from those characters’ perspectives.
GTA includes police and criminal roles, properties, fines, businesses, and an urban crime setting.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Gang warfare, warzone activity, tournaments, bounties, and GTA combat make PvP central.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Cash, auctions, shops, voting rewards, property, businesses, and player trading drive progression.
Prison players mine in rank-based areas, sell blocks for cash, and use /rankup to move from A through Z to Free. The plot world provides personal building space, while gangs add group goals and competition.
GTA players start around Los Santos and use vehicles, property, weapons, bounties, and crime systems. The two modes use separate command sets but share the same network identity.
Prison progression runs from rank A to rank Z and then Free. Reaching Free unlocks prestige, which resets the rank path while granting a permanent multiplier and prestige perks.
GTA progression comes from cash, purchases, voting, PvP, vehicles, property, and access to wider crime and police systems. Some commands and abilities unlock through ranks or donor packages.
Prison includes custom pickaxes, custom enchants, tokens, pets, marriage perks, gang systems, private cells, and plots.
GTA uses custom vehicles, vehicle physics, guns, a HUD, properties, police tools, bounties, and crime systems. A dedicated JailMine resource pack is required for the full GTA interface and custom equipment.
Prison is split into rank-based mines, a plot world, cells, and shared social areas. Each new rank opens access to better mining resources and stronger earning potential.
GTA takes place around Los Santos, with vehicle areas, rentable or purchasable properties, crime locations, police systems, and open-world travel.
PvP is part of both the prison and GTA experience. Prison supports gang warfare, PvP gear, warzone activity, and competitive tournaments.
GTA adds bounties, police-versus-criminal conflict, cartel wars, and bank heists. Items can drop on death in GTA, so valuable gear should be stored in a player vault or at home before risky fights.
The network uses cash, player payments, chest shops, auctions, and voting rewards. Prison players can mine in the A-mine, sell blocks, buy lottery tickets, and trade through the auction house.
GTA adds property, vehicles, fines, bounties, businesses, and a police-criminal economy. Player-run trading matters because equipment and property support different ways to earn money.
Prison includes weekly tournaments and warzone activity. Voting provides daily rewards and keys, while the network also promotes regular content, balance, and event updates.
JailMine provides a Discord community, an online forum, in-game private messages, gang chat, player trading, and support tickets. Players can form gangs, recruit friends, share plots, and compete on gang leaderboards.
Police roles in GTA require an application through Discord, creating a more structured community role than ordinary player combat.
Players can report rule-breakers with /report or through Discord support. The network uses anti-cheat systems and bans cheaters. GTA players should expect item loss after death outside protected storage.
JailMine is free to join. The web store sells Prison ranks, rank upgrades, crate keys, items, cash, companions, and other packages. GTA products include ranks, weapons, keys, vehicles, and cash.
Account recovery is offered as a separate $15 cryptocurrency service for eligible banned, hacked, or locked accounts.

History of JailMine
JailMine was established around 2014 as a prison-focused Minecraft network. Its central idea was simple: start at the bottom, mine for money, rank up, and work toward freedom.
By July 2015, the JailMine address was already operating as an established multiplayer destination. The network continued to build around the classic prison loop of mines, ranks, cells, plots, and player trading.
By 2020, JailMine had grown beyond a single prison mode. Its network identity included Prison, GTA, Skyblock, Survival, Factions, Skywars, KitPvP, economy features, and minigame-style content.
During the 2023 era, Prison remained the main progression mode while gangs, private cells, plots, backpacks, custom enchants, pickaxe upgrades, tokens, and warzone events gave the grind a stronger competitive edge. GTA and additional network modes broadened the audience beyond prison players.
The current network has narrowed its main focus to Prison and GTA. Prison uses an eight-rank A-to-Free path with custom pickaxes, enchants, gangs, plots, tournaments, and prestige. GTA adds a Los Santos setting with vehicles, weapons, properties, police play, heists, cartel conflicts, and player businesses.
JailMine now supports Java and Bedrock players through the same network address, accepts connections from legacy 1.8 clients through modern releases, and uses a dedicated GTA resource pack for its vehicles, guns, and interface.
