About PokeSaga
PokeSaga is a modded Minecraft network built around Pixelmon. You install its Pixelmon+ pack, then travel through themed realms while catching, training, breeding and battling Pokémon.
Beyond the usual gym run, the server layers in quests, guild tasks, Pokémon skills, hunts, custom textures, player gyms, world bosses and timed minigames. It feels closer to a long-form Pokémon RPG with Minecraft building and trading around it than a bare Pixelmon map.
What Makes It Different
PokeSaga ties many different goals to the same Pokémon journey. Catching and training a team can lead into gyms, guild quests, hunts, bosses, tournaments, cosmetics and custom-texture collecting instead of ending after the main story.
Pixelmon brings Pokémon into Minecraft, letting players find, catch, train, evolve, and battle them across a block-based world.
Pixelmon is the server's central gameplay foundation.
Modded Minecraft servers use game mods to add or change mechanics, content, or progression beyond the unmodified game.
Joining requires a dedicated Pixelmon modpack.
An RPG server makes Minecraft revolve around developing a character through adventures, combat, and other challenges.

Team growth includes breeding, EV and IV training, battle items, Pokémon skills, gyms and competitive events. Server ranks can be advanced through voting and daily quests, while guild quests give groups their own daily reward track.
Custom content includes Pixelmon+ improvements, hundreds of Pokémon textures, exotic forms, wearable cosmetics, equipment texture vouchers, Pokémon particles, custom tools, crates, rustling encounters and server-specific progression menus.
The network uses multiple themed realms and custom-built areas rather than one plain Pixelmon wilderness. Its world design includes adventure locations, dedicated battle spaces, custom maps and a large Pokémon-themed lobby.
Competitive play focuses on Pokémon battles through player-run gyms, gym leagues and tournaments. The server also includes Battle Frontier-style NPC challenges and other combat-focused encounters.
PokeSaga uses a server economy with buy and sell shops, player shops and a donor store. Voting, quests, guild activities, events and boss battles connect the economy to normal gameplay and reward hunting.
Timed events have included Aircore, Color, Corners, Spleef, TNT Run, Tag, Magic, Pictionary and HuntNRun. World Boss battles and Pokémon tournaments add larger competitive activities beyond the regular survival loop.
Guilds, player gyms, public forums and Discord support shape the social side of the network. Players can work toward gym leadership, builder and helper roles, while guild quests give groups shared daily objectives.
The web store offers ranks, kits, crates, Pokémon-related items and cosmetics. Some cosmetic rewards can also come from skills, hunts, bingo, events, world-boss placements, voting, quests and other in-game activities.

History of PokeSaga
PokeSaga was active by April 2021, when its PokeDream realm was already being used for Pixelmon survival and creator-led adventures. The network used separate realms to give players different places to explore while keeping the shared server community connected.
A major map and network update followed in June 2021. Several realms were reset, while ranks, purchased kits, cosmetics, titles, emotes, nicknames and playtime rewards carried forward. The reset also changed shop prices, crate rewards and the long-term economy.
That update pushed PokeSaga further beyond basic Pixelmon survival. Player gyms were reorganized into an 18-gym route split between Alpha and Omega leagues, with challengers progressing through gyms in order. Guild quests added daily group objectives, while new ranks rewarded voting and daily activity.
The same era introduced more server-specific hunting systems. Rustling Pokémon appeared as special encounters with improved shiny and Hidden Ability chances, and the Pixelmon+ pack added hundreds of custom Pokémon textures. Dungeons, tournaments, EV and IV training, legendary spawns, player gyms and world bosses gave collectors and competitive trainers separate goals.
In April 2023, PokeSaga released another major network update centered on cosmetics, events and boss content. The cosmetics system expanded with wearable hats, wings, balloons, equipment textures and tradeable vouchers. Nine hourly events returned, including Spleef, TNT Run, Tag, Pictionary and HuntNRun, alongside a rebuilt World Boss area.
The network's current form combines Pixelmon Reforged with the Pixelmon+ setup, custom maps, Pokémon progression, guild activities, economy systems and cosmetic collection. PokeSaga has grown from a Pixelmon survival network into a large feature-heavy RPG-style server built around long-term team building.
