NovaTek is built for long-term survival play without the usual restrictions placed on technical Minecraft. Players develop bases and large automation projects in a main world that stays intact, while separate resource worlds refresh regularly so materials remain available. Vanilla+ quality-of-life additions, player trading, optional custom content, and support for both Java and Bedrock round out the server.
What Makes It Different
NovaTek combines a permanent survival world with a deliberately permissive technical ruleset. Players can pursue large automation projects using mechanics such as TNT duplication, quarries, Nether-roof construction, and bedrock breaking, while monthly resource worlds provide fresh materials without resetting the main world.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.

Progression is largely self-directed rather than tied to a seasonal ladder. Players improve equipment, expand bases, automate resource production, open up larger technical builds, and develop long-term projects that remain in the world. Monthly resource worlds help supply new materials without erasing established progress.
Vanilla+ additions provide small quality-of-life improvements while keeping the server recognizable as Minecraft survival. Additional content has included an optional texture pack, custom items and mobs, dungeons, bosses, and custom weapons.
The main survival world is intended to remain persistent, allowing bases, farms, roads, and community builds to accumulate over time. Separate overworld, Nether, and End resource worlds regenerate monthly so players can gather fresh materials without disturbing the primary world.
NovaTek includes an in-game economy with player-run shops. Players can sell gathered or produced resources, buy materials from other players, and use trade to support larger building and automation projects.
Community events have included a UHC tournament in a separate world, with natural regeneration disabled and prizes for placement and participation.

History of NovaTek
NovaTek began as a home for technical players who wanted to use advanced farms, duplication mechanics, quarry systems, and other commonly restricted techniques without giving up a shared survival community. Its early identity centered on performance, technical freedom, and a main world intended to remain available rather than being wiped for seasonal resets.
In August 2025, the server expanded its community activity with a UHC tournament held in a separate world, keeping the main survival builds protected while adding a one-life PvP challenge. The server has continued operating as a technical SMP with persistent builds and refreshed resource worlds.
