About Playblocks
Playblocks is a cross-platform Survival network built around two distinct ideas. Its Earth SMP uses a 1:500-scale map of Earth, letting players build towns near real-world locations and travel between continents.
A second Power SMP realm adds five free superpowers, while the wider network layers in quests, jobs, skills, custom items, bosses, rankups, shops, and player trading. PvP is optional, so the server suits players who want progression and community building without constant open combat.
What Makes It Different
The 1:500 Earth map changes where players build and how towns connect. The separate Power SMP then adds superhero abilities instead of making every world feel like the same Survival mode.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.

Quests are tracked Minecraft objectives that direct players to complete specific tasks or a connected sequence of tasks.
The server advertises a large quest system with more than 900 quests.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
Boss fights, quests, and reward-driven encounters provide major PvE content.

An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Its main realms are shared multiplayer Survival worlds with towns and player-driven activity.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, selling, auctions, shops, cash, credits, and PlayCoins are central systems.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom items and enchantments are a major part of progression on both editions.
Most players begin in the Earth SMP, choose a place to settle, and develop a town or personal base. Land shops, player warps, auctions, jobs, quests, and continent warps give the world reasons to keep moving after the first build is finished.
Players can also visit the Power SMP, where five free powers change how Survival encounters work. Boss fights provide server-wide PvE targets, while voting and quests add extra reward paths.
Progression comes from several systems at once. Rankups and daily rewards provide steady milestones, while fifteen skills, twelve jobs, and more than 900 quests support longer grinds.
Experience can be used for custom enchantments on tools and armor. Boss fights, voting, selling items, and quest completion offer additional ways to earn rewards.
Playblocks includes custom items that work on Java and Bedrock, custom enchantments, five Power SMP abilities, boss encounters, rankup rewards, daily rewards, and a large quest system.
The headline world is a 1:500 replica of Earth. Players can start towns near real-world locations and use continental warps to travel across the map.
Public portals provide access to the Nether and End, giving the Earth world more than a single overworld-building loop.
PvP is optional rather than permanently forced on every player. The server is built around protected, cooperative Survival play, while players who want fights can choose to take part.
Players earn in-game cash through jobs and by selling items at the spawn marketplace. Player auctions and personal land shops handle trading between players.
Voting provides keys and rewards. PlayCoins are used for crate keys and cosmetics, while the store also sells credit bundles.
Boss fights create shared PvE goals for the network. Season-based leaderboards add a competitive layer, and the store includes an Event Pass product.
The server has an active Discord community at discord.gg/playblocks. Towns, land shops, player warps, auctions, and shared boss fights give players several ways to interact beyond chat.
Griefing is not part of normal play, and PvP is optional. The server is aimed at cooperative building and Survival progression rather than unrestricted anarchy.
The official store sells four named ranks—Hero, Knight, Paladin, and Champion—along with credit bundles and an Event Pass subscription. In-game PlayCoins are tied to donation support and can be used for crate keys and cosmetics.

History of Playblocks
Playblocks was already running by April 2020 under the mc.playblocks.org address. Its early public presence centered on Survival gameplay with economy, McMMO-style skills, Towny-style building, and a custom-generated world.
By April 2021, the server had a defining feature: a 1:500 replica of Planet Earth. Players could establish towns near their real-world homes, use continental warps, and connect their builds through a persistent shared map.
That Earth-focused Survival experience expanded with rankups, daily rewards, fifteen skills, more than 900 quests, twelve jobs, spawn-market selling, player auctions, land shops, player warps, and custom enchantments. The combination gave builders, traders, grinders, and explorers different ways to progress.
Bedrock compatibility became part of the network's public offering during this period, with separate Bedrock connection information appearing alongside the Java addresses. Custom items were designed to work across both editions.
The network later added the Power SMP realm, where players choose from five superhero-style powers. Server-wide boss fights, quest rewards, custom gear, voting rewards, and season-based leaderboards added more activity beyond the Earth map.
Playblocks now runs as a Java and Bedrock network using the org.playblocks.net connection. Its main draw remains the mix of a persistent Earth world, player towns, economy systems, optional PvP, custom content, and a separate power-based Survival realm.
