About Pinecraft Equestrian
Pinecraft Equestrian is a horse-first survival SMP built around custom horses rather than ordinary Minecraft mounts. New players choose a breed at Pineton Stables, then train, bond with, breed, trade and race their horses across Pineland.
The survival side still matters. Players gather resources, build on protected plots, complete quests and take part in an economy built around horses and supplies. A web portal adds stable management, horse-market activity, race results and leaderboards outside the game.
What Makes It Different
Most survival servers treat horses as transport. Pinecraft treats each horse as a long-term project with its own breed, name, lineage, stats, care needs and competition history.
Events are organized Minecraft activities that give players a distinct objective and rules for a particular occasion or limited period.
Races, jumping, archery, makeover competitions and seasonal activities are recurring parts of play.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Player homesteads use protected plots with detailed access controls.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom horse items, XP boosts, breeding potions, tack and care supplies shape progression.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The main server is a survival SMP with resource gathering, homesteads and long-term progression.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is explicitly structured as a multiplayer survival world.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Horse sales, player trading, in-game money, auctions and reward currencies are central systems.
Your main activities are caring for horses, training them, building a homestead and joining community activities. The custom horse panel handles spawning, breeding, selling, bonding and permissions. Horses can be shared with friends, entered into races and kept in persistent spawn when they are fed daily.
Progress starts at Pineton Stables, where you choose a first mount from the available riding breeds. Training raises speed and jump values, while riding and brushing build your bond. Later goals include unlocking more breeds, breeding stronger foals, earning race credentials and building a valuable stable.
ModN Equine replaces vanilla horses with custom breeds, horse panels, stat growth, bonding, foals, breeding rules, tack and care systems. Horses track speed and jump experience, health, energy, feeding needs and lineage. Custom textures and plugins support the wider equestrian theme.
Pineland is the main SMP world, with player homesteads protected through plots. Plot owners can control building, block breaking, containers, entity interaction, access points and other permissions. The dedicated Pineland map lets players explore the world outside the game.
PvP is present but is not the server's main focus. Plots can have PvP toggled through their permissions, and organized horse events commonly disable PvP. PvP-related activities such as YeGods can also award points used for special items.
The economy uses in-game money for horse sales and player trading. Horses can be listed on the public market or through in-game auction systems. Quest tokens, race rewards and dock points provide other ways to obtain breeding or progression items.
Events include formal racing classes, show jumping, barrel racing, mounted archery, jousting, coat-and-name contests and the Mustang Makeover. Competitions often divide entrants by horse statistics and award prizes, ribbons or auction rewards.
The server grew from Abigail Pinehaven's horse-game audience and uses Discord for community communication. Players can join livestreams, community competitions and creator-related activities, with occasional chances to appear in YouTube content.
Kindness is the server's headline rule. Plot permissions provide practical control over who can build, use containers, interact with entities and access private areas. Event rules can add limits such as no PvP, no alternate accounts and entry limits per class.
The store sells digital items for the SMP, including horse eggs, currency, XP packs, building and farming supplies, creature eggs, flight, server-wide perks and VIP memberships. Some memberships provide extra horse capacity, feeding items, healing supplies and horse XP boosts.

History of Pinecraft Equestrian
Pinecraft Equestrian was running by September 2022 and was publicly promoted as Abigail Pinehaven's horse-themed Minecraft SMP by October that year. Its early format combined survival building with land claims, horse training, horse sales, breeding and server events.
The first version centered on giving every player a personal horse journey. Players started with a mount, built homes and stables, and used custom systems to develop horses for speed, jumping, breeding and competition rather than relying on vanilla horse mechanics.
By late 2023, the wider Pinecraft project also included a separate modded Java roleplay branch using the Pinecraft Roleplay Pack. That branch extended the horse setting beyond the main vanilla-compatible SMP and gave the community a second way to play in the same broader setting.
During 2025, community events became a major part of the server's activity. Racing classes, jumping competitions, barrel racing, mounted archery, jousting, coat-and-name contests and the multi-week Mustang Makeover gave trained horses practical uses outside ordinary travel.
In July 2026, Pinecraft added a web home portal connected to player stables. Players could view horses remotely, manage feeding needs and arrange care while also following market activity, race results and leaderboards from a browser.
By August 2026, the server had expanded its horse systems with additional tack and continued running themed competitions and auctions. Pinecraft Equestrian now combines a protected survival world, a detailed horse progression system, player trading and a busy calendar of equestrian events.
