OPSUCHT is a CityBuild network where players claim plots, build homes and shops, gather resources, and grow their in-game wealth. Six CityBuild worlds share a large economy with jobs, player trading, auctions, shop chests, clans and long-term progression.
What Makes It Different
OPSUCHT combines a busy CityBuild economy with several specialized worlds. Your plot is the permanent home base, while farming, Redstone projects, trading and collection systems all feed back into the same account-wide progress.
CityBuild is a Minecraft building mode where players develop homes, businesses, and public spaces into connected urban districts.
CityBuild plots are the central gameplay area and define the server's identity.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
The plot system lets players claim, protect and customize personal building areas.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
OP-Items, teleporter items, pets, minions, cosmetics and custom animals are central additions.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, trading, auctions, player shops, banks and property sales drive progression.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather Vanilla resources, build, farm and manage risk across resource worlds.
Start by claiming a 32×32 plot with `/p auto`. Build there, invite trusted players, set plot flags and visit other players through plot warps. Six CityBuild worlds use the same basic plot system.
All jobs can be active at the same time. Mining, farming, building, fishing, hunting and woodcutting award job XP and money in their supported worlds. Achievements reach level 100 before prestige, while the monthly OP Pass has 100 levels and resets each month.
OPSUCHT adds OP-Items, pets, custom animals, transformations, teleporter items, minions, cosmetics, achievements, boosters and account-wide progression systems. Six minion types can gather resources while you are offline, and each can be upgraded to level 100.
The six CityBuild worlds are the main building areas. Sixteen temporary Farmwelten provide twelve Overworld, two Nether and two End resource worlds. They are regenerated every Friday from 16:00. A separate Redstone world provides private technical worlds for large farms and complex machines. Luxury Island is a peaceful area for cosmetics and selected item upgrades.
PvP is limited to designated PvP areas and plot settings. Killing players outside the PvP server is prohibited. Plot owners can control PvP flags, while the Luxury Island has PvP disabled. Farm worlds remain risky because griefing is allowed there and they reset weekly.
The main currency is in-game dollars. Jobs, player shops, the Marktplatz, auctions, resource traders, banks and the real-estate market all support the economy. The Marktplatz handles resources and Vanilla items, while the auction house focuses on rare tools, armor, spawn eggs and other special items.
Weekend events, competitions, giveaways and seasonal activities are part of the network's regular calendar. Event crates, holiday content and the monthly OP Pass add rotating goals and rewards.
Players can join clans with shared banks, homes, plots, tasks and customizable roles. Discord provides news, tickets, feedback, trading areas and voice support. TeamSpeak is also available for community chat and support.
Scamming, griefing on CityBuild and Redstone areas, player-killing outside the PvP server, traps, exploit abuse, ban evasion, harassment, spam and unauthorized external advertising are prohibited. AFK farming and automation are allowed, but using AFK methods to manipulate achievements or unlockable content is not.
The official store offers ranks, crystals and randomized crates. Crystals can also be used for selected plot slots, teleporter items and OP Pass levels. Every player receives the free OP Pass track, while the paid pass unlocks a second reward path and the OP Workshop. Voting provides a free crate reward.

History of OPSUCHT
OPSUCHT was online by October 2018, following the registration of the opsucht.net domain in September that year. From the beginning, it was a German Minecraft CityBuild network operated publicly by Interwebmedia GmbH. Its early identity centered on player-owned plots, public shops, trading and a server-wide economy. Community activity was already visible in late 2018 through player shops on its CityBuild worlds.
The network’s CityBuild foundation remained central as it developed. Players built on plots, traded with one another and participated in an economy shaped by their own shops and activities. Jobs became part of this progression: players could advance all supported jobs in parallel, with separate levels, experience, payments and milestone rewards.
A major development phase arrived in 2022. In September, OPSUCHT updated to Minecraft 1.19.2, introduced an event program and expanded its crate system. The following month marked the network’s fourth anniversary, alongside an update to minions.
In February 2023, OPSUCHT changed how players connected to the network. Java and Bedrock were merged into one network, and account progress was synchronized between the editions. This created a shared progression experience for players using either supported edition.
The same 2023 update cycle also reshaped several parts of the server. OPSUCHT added a new PvP system and rebuilt the lobby and spawn. The OP Pass, crates, boosters, PvP modes, villagers and network infrastructure were added or expanded during this period.
Development continued in 2024 with a new shop and a new app identified as major additions. Updates also expanded the server’s Redstone content, extending development beyond its established CityBuild and economy systems.
Today, OPSUCHT remains a German CityBuild network built around plots, player trading, jobs and account-wide progression. Its Java-and-Bedrock network combines these long-standing systems with events, PvP, crates, boosters, villagers, apps and continuing infrastructure updates.
