About openCraft
Last updated
On openCraft there is no /home, no /tpa and no warps. You get around on fast automatic minecarts, horse routes and boats, and every trip across the map means something. You claim land in 8x8 sectors that cover the full world height, earn dynksy by playing, and spend them at bazaars where traders sell special tools, sacks and region upgrades.
Survival is the main mode, with a Skyblock world and a creative test map on the side. The world has its own seasons, from storms that throw lightning at anyone without a roof to haunted winters full of extra mobs. Java and Bedrock players can join, and the server and its guides are in Polish.
What Makes It Different
Travel is the heart of the game: teleport commands are off, so the server is linked by hundreds of rail stations and ports, horse routes and boat lines that players build and use together.
A separate Skyblock world built around unusual game mechanics.
Dynksy earned by playing, spent at bazaars on tools, sacks and region space.
The main mode: build, farm and trade on one large world with slow crops and real travel.
You start at Dehub, a hub with an Informatorium and a short tutorial, then head into the Overworld, which is split into a dozen or so segments. Each segment has a bazaar that works as its trading capital and station.
Crops grow three times slower, iron golems drop pieces instead of ingots and villagers outside bazaars do not trade, so progress comes from farming, building and trading over time.
The End is sealed, and the Nether only opens through portals that staff place at ruined portal sites. Segments like NoMidori, a huge forest with its own terrain, and Orfirion with new sulfur biomes give each area its own look.
PvP only happens when both players turn it on with /pvp on. Attacking AFK players or players without PvP on, and building troll traps, are punished.
Dynksy are earned by playing actively, voting, daily rewards and selling items to bazaar traders. Gains slow down the longer you play in one day, so short regular visits earn more. Trading between players is barter.
The three basics are play and let others play, be kind, and treat the server as the last one you will ever play on. Building outside a region is at your own risk, and chests outside protected sectors count as public.
Patrons support the server through Patronite and get cosmetic perks, plus a premium currency for things like short flights, custom maps and a dynksy boost.
Quarterly events bring building contests and other social challenges, with mostly cosmetic or prestige rewards.
Regions are claimed in 8x8 sectors that reach from bedrock to the build limit, with resident and guest permissions.
Fights only happen when both players turn PvP on, and attacking AFK or PvP-off players is punished.
The /nagroda_codzienna command gives a daily reward, rebuilt in the July 2026 update.
Each segment has a bazaar where traders sell tunnel pickaxes, auto axes, geo radars, sacks and more for dynksy.
Segments like NoMidori use their own forest generator, and Orfirion has new sulfur biomes.
Dynksy come from time spent actively playing, with gains slowing later in the day so regular short visits earn more.
Seasons change every few hours, bringing storms with extra lightning, droughts that burn armored players and winters with haunted mobs.
There is no /home, /tpa or /warp, so you travel on automatic minecarts, horse routes and boats that link hundreds of stations.

History of openCraft
openCraft has run without a break since 2011, and counting its earlier versions the team says it goes back about 15 years. Its oldest habits, like the global chat prefix, came from the jCraft days and lasted until late 2024.
The Ergot season in January 2024 rebuilt the website, renamed spawn to Dehub and added a tutorial for new players. In June 2024 the Hexen update moved to Minecraft 1.21 and opened NoMidori, a huge forest segment, along with the Hexen bazaar, the biggest on the server.
December 2024 brought a new Dehub and minecarts tested at nearly 320 km/h. The Vijes update in July 2026 added the ocSorter hopper filter, unlocked crafters and opened sulfur biomes on the Orfirion segment.
