About Modern Nations
Modern Nations puts players in charge of rival countries and makes diplomacy, national development, and military conflict the main focus. The shared world develops through negotiations, trade, political decisions, and battles between player-led states rather than through isolated minigame rounds.
What Makes It Different
The server treats national politics as the game itself. Players build countries, manage public finances, negotiate with other states, and shape conflicts that can become major community events.
Player-led countries, diplomacy, national development, borders, and military conflict form the server's central experience.
Players act through governments and countries in an alternative-Earth setting with in-character national activity.
Tax revenue, treasury management, procurement, transfers, trade, debt, and interest drive national progression.
Players begin by selecting and applying for a country, then develop its government, infrastructure, foreign relations, and armed forces. Much of the experience is organized through national spaces, diplomatic proceedings, military planning, and in-character roleplay between player-led states.
Progress comes from strengthening a country over time. Players set tax policies, manage treasury funds, develop national projects, arrange trade, acquire military equipment, and respond to changing diplomatic or military situations.
Country applications, in-character national spaces, a Global Assembly, military organization, and a custom national economy give the network a framework well beyond ordinary Minecraft survival.
The setting uses an alternative Earth with recognizable countries and player-run governments. National forums, diplomatic institutions, military areas, and the Global Assembly provide the main structure for the shared world.
Conflict takes the form of military operations and battles between player-led nations. Wars are tied to diplomacy, preparation, equipment, and national objectives rather than short arena matches.
The economy uses national taxation and treasury management. Countries receive starting revenue, collect taxes on a recurring cycle, spend on procurement and infrastructure, transfer money, establish trade agreements, and can accumulate debt with interest.
Wars, military operations, diplomatic proceedings, and major battles provide recurring shared events. A Sweden-Russia battle was highlighted as a notable player milestone in the network's public news.
The community is organized around country-based roleplay, diplomacy, journalism, military reporting, and economic transactions. Players can use forum support and community tickets when they need help.
Participation begins with registration, country selection, and an approved country application. Players are expected to follow roleplay rules and maintain in-character national spaces. The published community age requirement is 16 or older.
Countries can accumulate debt with interest, adding financial risk to spending and long-term national planning.
Countries collect taxes on a recurring cycle, making tax policy and revenue generation part of government management.
Player governments manage treasury funds and decide how to allocate national money across projects, purchases, and operations.
The Global Assembly provides an organized institution for political proceedings among the server's player-led countries.
Wars and military operations connect diplomacy, preparation, equipment, national objectives, and battles between player-led states.
Countries spend treasury funds on military equipment and plan armed forces as part of national development.
Players begin by selecting a country and submitting an application for approval before joining the server's national roleplay.
Players maintain in-character national spaces and represent governments during diplomacy, reporting, political activity, and conflict.
Countries can establish trade agreements and transfer money while developing economic relationships with other nations.
Players develop national infrastructure and projects to strengthen their countries beyond diplomacy and battlefield activity.
Diplomatic proceedings and political developments are recurring community activities alongside national decision-making and international relations.
