About RulerCraft
RulerCraft turns Minecraft into a shared 1:500 Earth map. Players settle real-world regions, create towns, join nations, trade through outposts and build a place in a changing political world. Cultures and religions add roleplay choices, while optional PvP lets players decide how exposed they want to be.
There is more to do than claim land and build. McMMO skills, 54 selectable perks, quests, custom villager trades, dungeons and team-based bosses give established players several ways to keep progressing. Nations can also compete over quarries and treasure ships, while the Senate gives players a formal vote on server decisions.
What Makes It Different
The whole map is a scaled version of Earth, so choosing a town location feels like choosing a country or region. Cultures, religions, treaties and player-run nations make geography matter beyond decoration.
RulerCraft also gives players a voice through its Senate. Players can vote on server changes, staff promotions and ban appeals instead of leaving every major decision to staff alone.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.
The defining world is a scaled map of Earth with real-world geography.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Players create towns, claim land and form nations.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Trading posts, automatic price changes and nation income are major systems.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server uses survival progression, resources, building and settlement as its base.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Optional player PvP and organized war are important parts of the experience.
Choose a place on the Earth map, join a town or create one, then connect it to a nation or wider political group. Trading posts help move goods and players around the map.
The server mixes building and settlement play with quests, McMMO skills, treasure hunting, dungeons, custom bosses and nation-level objectives such as quarries and treasure ships.
Progression comes from several systems rather than one rank ladder. McMMO skills improve through play, quests provide additional goals, and 54 perks let players specialize in useful bonuses.
Custom villager trades provide access to hard-to-obtain items, while dungeons and bosses offer combat-focused rewards. Voting also grants money, experience, rank progress and chances at rare items.
RulerCraft adds 54 selectable perks, more than 48 town cultures, religions, McMMO skills, custom villager trades, quests, treasure hunts and custom dungeon content.
Named bosses include King Goliath, Master Evoker, Creeper Lord and Michael Mamoa. The server also includes an in-game RulerGPT assistant, bounties and automatic chest protection.
The main world is a 1:500-scale map of Earth with its continents, ores and biomes represented. Players can settle in the region they want and shape towns and nations around that location.
A dedicated live map helps players plan settlements, find other towns and understand the political layout. The world is intended to persist rather than reset on a regular cycle.
PvP is optional at the player level. Turning it on makes that player vulnerable to PvP across the server, so players can choose between safer building and a more dangerous playstyle.
Nations can also take part in SiegeWar and RulerCraft's custom war system. Quarries and treasure ships create strategic targets for larger political conflicts without making every encounter an unrestricted fight.
The economy uses trading posts spread across the Earth map. Players can buy and sell goods there, and the server uses automatic price changes to keep markets moving.
Trading posts also provide quick travel between distant parts of the world. Nation objectives such as quarries and treasure ships add another way for organized groups to earn money.
Events and minigames are part of the server alongside treasure hunting, bounties, dungeons and nation warfare. The strongest recurring activities are tied to the Earth map and player-run towns rather than isolated arena matches.
The Senate is a central community system. Senators vote on server features, plugin changes, staff changes, promotions and ban appeals.
Staff are selected through the player-led system and can be demoted by vote. Discord chat is connected to the game, giving players another way to coordinate towns, nations and diplomacy.
Chat spam, excessive caps, harassment, toxicity and advertising other servers are prohibited. Exploits, unfair software, macros, prohibited mods, fully automatic farms and AFK farming are also banned.
Players may not scam, trap, grief or deliberately block other towns. Building rules restrict laggy machines, offensive designs, impossible floating structures, giant holes and excessive terrain flattening. Town claims must not use border autofill to seize large areas or surround other towns on purpose.
RulerCraft has an optional donation store and advertises a no-pay-to-win policy. Voting rewards include money, experience, progress toward an active rank and chances at emeralds, diamonds or ancient debris.
A month of voting across the listed sites can award an Elytra or Shulker and Senator rank. These rewards are separate from the server's regular settlement, combat and dungeon progression.

History of RulerCraft
RulerCraft dates to 2021. By October 30, 2024, it was marking its third anniversary as an Earth-based Towny server built around towns, nations, trade and roleplay.
Its early public feature set already combined a 1:500 Earth map with cultures, religions, a dynamic economy, optional PvP and a custom war layer alongside SiegeWar. That mix gave the server a more political shape than a standard survival world.
In November 2024, custom town religions and cultures became available. These systems tied settlement identity to the map and gave towns more ways to express how they wanted to play.
In December 2024, dungeon travel was expanded through a dedicated dungeon lobby and paid teleport option. Dungeons and custom bosses became a clearer endgame path for players looking for combat and special loot beyond ordinary overworld survival.
By January 2026, the perk system had expanded with a Tier 4 perk that unlocked all crafting recipes. Perks had become a major part of personal progression, alongside McMMO skills, quests and economy play.
In May 2026, RulerCraft added a United Nations diplomatic system for treaty enforcement between nations. Today, the server combines persistent Earth settlement with Towny politics, optional PvP, war mechanics, dungeons, bosses, player voting and crossplay between Java and Bedrock.
