About MineRefuge
MineRefuge is a survival network built around two very different ways to play. Earth SMP places towns on a 1:500 map of the real world, while OneBlock starts you on a single block that regenerates into another random block when broken.
On Earth, choose a continent with /continents, settle with other players, and build a town around claimed land. Economy, Jobs, McMMO, PvE and PvP give the world more to do than ordinary building and mining. Bedrock and Java players can join the same network.
What Makes It Different
MineRefuge turns survival into a geography game. You pick a real-world continent, then use towns and claims to make that region your home. OneBlock provides a completely different challenge when you want a smaller island-focused grind.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.
The central world is a scaled recreation of Earth with selectable continents.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Town creation and claimed settlement land are core Earth-mode mechanics.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The current network MOTD identifies the server as a Survival SMP.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The main server mode is an Earth-focused Survival SMP.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Economy systems are repeatedly associated with the server.
The main Earth mode is a shared survival world with continent selection, towns and land claims. Players can also switch to OneBlock, where a single regenerating block becomes the starting point for an expanding island.
Earth progression mixes survival gear with Jobs, economy activity, McMMO skill growth and town development. OneBlock progression comes from breaking the regenerating block, expanding the island and making useful builds from its changing materials.
The network combines a custom Earth map, OneBlock gameplay, Towny-style town and claim systems, Jobs and McMMO skill mechanics.
The Earth world uses a 1:500 recreation of the planet, with all major continents laid out as settlement choices. The /continents command sends players toward the region where they want to live.
Both PvE and PvP are supported. Players can fight hostile mobs as part of normal survival and take part in player combat where the network's PvP systems apply.
Economy and Jobs are core advertised systems. Players can earn through work, trade resources and use the server economy while developing towns and survival bases.
Java and Bedrock players can play on the same network. The server has used Discord as a community channel and supports shared town-based play.
MineRefuge has an associated web store for server purchases.
History of MineRefuge
MineRefuge was operating by 2022, when it was already presented as a multi-mode Minecraft network with Survival, Economy, Jobs, PvP, SkyBlock and Quests among its advertised options.
By April 2023, the network used play.valorhcf.net as an entry address and connected players through a central Hub-01. A compass in the hub opened the server selector, while the MineRefuge store and Discord were part of the network's surrounding community setup.
The server later became closely associated with Earth Survival. Its main world uses a 1:500 recreation of Earth, with the continents laid out as places for players to choose homes, towns and larger settlements.
Town-based play became a major part of the Earth experience. Players could create towns and claim land, giving the large world a social structure instead of leaving it as a simple open survival map.
OneBlock added a smaller, more self-contained mode alongside Earth. Players begin with one regenerating block, expand their island, and shape the space around the unpredictable stream of new blocks.
By 2026, the network's main entry point was minerefuge.com and its MOTD centered on a 1.21+ Survival SMP. Earth, Towny-style settlement, economy systems, Jobs, McMMO, PvE, PvP and OneBlock remained the defining parts of the network.
