About MCAmerica
MCAmerica is a survival Towny server set on a scaled North America map. You build in a regional world instead of a generic random landscape, so towns, cities, borders, and neighboring nations all have a clear place.
Towny claims give settlements structure, while PvP and wars add pressure between groups. Economy and mcMMO extend the survival grind, and the social side comes from shared cities, growing nations, and player-made geopolitics.
What Makes It Different
MCAmerica turns the Earth-server idea into a North America-only world at 1:125 scale. You are building a town or nation inside a shared regional sandbox, not just placing a private base in a random map.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.
The server uses a geographically themed North America map at 1:125 scale.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Town and nation creation is the central gameplay structure.

An in-game economy is part of the server's listed gameplay.
Use Towny to claim land and establish a town. Build homes, public spaces, roads, and larger city projects with other players. Towns can develop into nations, creating room for larger groups and political relationships.
Progression comes from expanding settlements, building population, developing cities, and growing into nations. mcMMO adds skill levels to normal survival activities. The economy gives groups another way to support expansion and trade.
The custom North America map is the main special feature. Server-side systems include Towny, mcMMO, and a marriage system.
The world is shaped like North America at a 1:125 scale rather than a normal random survival map. Regional geography provides the backdrop for towns, nations, cities, borders, and wars.
PvP is part of the server's nation-building premise. Groups can wage wars and defend the cities they create. Towny claims give conflicts more structure than an unprotected free-for-all world.
An in-game economy supports town growth, city projects, and player interaction. Money becomes useful when groups need to fund expansion and trade resources.
Community play revolves around towns, nations, shared cities, and the geopolitics created by player choices. The server also has a friendly social side, with cities and settlements giving players reasons to explore beyond their own base.

History of MCAmerica
MCAmerica was running by January 17, 2026, as a Java survival server built around Towny and a North America map. Its central idea was regional from the beginning: players would create towns and nations across a scaled version of the continent.
During 2026, the server's setup combined city building, land protection, economy, mcMMO progression, and organized player conflict. Towny gave settlements a way to grow while PvP and wars added stakes to the political sandbox.
By late summer 2026, MCAmerica remained a Java Paper server focused on the same North America-centered format, with a live map, Discord community, player-built cities, and nation-based survival gameplay.
