About LilacMC
LilacMC is a Towny survival server where towns and nations grow inside a world built to last. Land claims protect builds, while players set prices through shops, auctions, jobs, voting, and events instead of relying on an admin shop.
The vanilla base is expanded with 300+ custom items, 200+ decorative trees, mcMMO, custom Mob Arenas, and redesigned farming, fishing, and mining. PvP is consensual outside the arena, so the main experience centers on building, trading, collecting, and cooperative PvE.
What Makes It Different
LilacMC combines a no-reset Towny world with a genuinely player-run market. There is no admin shop setting fixed prices, so jobs, player shops and auctions all matter. Custom items, trees and gathering systems give established towns goals beyond basic building.

Start with Towny by claiming land, founding a town, adding residents and joining or creating a nation. The server also uses jobs, mcMMO skills, player shops, auctions and custom PvE activities to give builders and adventurers different ways to play.
New players receive starter money to get established. Farmer, Hunter and Miner jobs pay for early progress, while rank advancement can unlock up to four job slots. Later goals include collecting custom items, improving mcMMO skills, expanding towns and tackling harder Mob Arena runs.
LilacMC has more than 300 custom items usable as armor, weapons and tools. Lilac Saplings add more than 200 decorative tree types. Farming, fishing and mining use custom systems, and Mob Arena adds rotating maps, enemy waves, difficulty levels, modifiers and token rewards.
Main worlds are intended for towns and building, while resource worlds are used for gathering materials. Towny claims, a live map, public markets and the no-reset approach make the world easy to organize around lasting settlements.
PvP requires consent from both players. The dedicated PvP arena keeps inventory and experience on death, while unapproved kills can be punished. LilacMC is built for controlled combat rather than surprise attacks or raiding.
There is no admin shop or fixed value for every item. Players trade through the /market chest-shop area and the /ah auction house. Auction listings remain active for 72 hours, while jobs, votes and events provide additional income.
Seasonal content has included Valentine's activities and the 2026 Summertide event. Mob Arena also runs as a recurring cooperative challenge with changing maps, difficulties and modifiers. Using alternate accounts or exploits to gain extra event rewards is forbidden.
English is used in global chat. The Discord community handles announcements, giveaways, polls and support tickets. Players also use it to find town members, get build feedback and follow marketplace activity.
Griefing, stealing, consentless PvP, cheating clients, x-ray, job automation, alternate accounts and exploit abuse are prohibited. Redstone machines that create server lag can be removed. Spam, harassment, hate speech, inappropriate builds and deceptive trading are also punished.
The official store sells premium ranks, rank upgrades, crate keys, tags and boosters. Purchases support the continued upkeep and development of the server and its website.

History of LilacMC
The LilacMC community was established by November 6, 2020, when its official Discord was created. The server's community structure has remained closely tied to Discord, where announcements, support and town recruitment are handled.
LilacMC was running by July 2021. By February 2025, it was operating as a Towny SMP with a player-driven economy, mcMMO, custom plugins and seasonal content such as a Valentine's event and Elytra race.
During 2025 and 2026, the server's custom systems became a larger part of its long-term progression. These included hundreds of custom items, decorative tree varieties, custom Mob Arenas, and modified farming, fishing and mining mechanics.
World continuity became one of LilacMC's clearest long-term features. By 2026, the server had been running for nearly five years without a world reset, allowing towns, shops and large builds to keep developing instead of starting over each season.
Recent seasonal content included the 2026 Summertide event, while the server continued supporting Minecraft 1.21.10. Today, LilacMC combines persistent Towny building with a player-controlled market, custom collection goals and repeatable PvE activities.
