About NoorlandMC
NoorlandMC is a Towny Survival server built around towns, land claims, exploration, and a player-driven economy. You can secure land, grow a settlement, hire NPC workers, and shape a long-term world instead of starting over after every season. The PvE focus puts more attention on building, resources, dungeons, and exploration than constant player combat.
Progression reaches beyond normal vanilla survival. Ranks unlock commands and abilities, jobs have their own upgrades, and custom tools, armor, drops, and daily quests give regular play a clear direction. A custom marketplace connects players who want to trade resources, goods, and services.
What Makes It Different
Noorland combines Towny claims with hired NPC workers, so a settlement can feel like a working community instead of only a collection of protected chunks. Its custom advancement and rank systems also guide players without turning the server into a heavily modded experience.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Towns, claims, upgrades, and settlement growth define the main experience.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
The server is explicitly focused on PvE, exploration, mobs, resources, and dungeons.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The server is built around a long-term world with no planned resets.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is a survival world built around gathering, exploration, building, and PvE.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, player shops, trading, and a custom marketplace are major systems.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Player communities, towns, shared projects, and trade are central to the server.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Campfire-based claims are a distinctive part of settlement building.
Start by choosing a place for a campfire claim, then develop that area into a camp or town. Towns can grow through upgrades, while NPC workers add useful activity around your settlement. Players can also explore, gather resources, complete quests, visit dungeons, and trade with other players.
Ranks unlock new commands, perks, and abilities as you play. Jobs have their own progression and obtainable abilities, giving players different ways to earn and specialize. Custom advancements and daily quests provide smaller goals between larger town projects.
Custom content includes towns and camps, campfire-based claims with built-in storage, free-roaming NPC workers, custom tools and armor, rare drops, custom sets, advancement-based progression, job abilities, and daily quests.
The world includes varied biomes, forests, mountains, oceans, hidden dungeons, landmarks, and exploration secrets. Terralith terrain generation adds more unusual landscapes, while a separate resource world helps preserve the main settlement map.
NoorlandMC is PvE-focused. Combat against mobs and dungeon threats matters more than player fighting, while Towny claims support the building and community side of the server.
The economy is built around jobs, player shops, trading, and a custom marketplace. Players can earn through gameplay and exchange resources, goods, and services with other members of the community.
Community events are part of NoorlandMC's social side, alongside Discord, forums, shared builds, trading, and player-organized activities.
The community is centered on towns, shared projects, player commerce, and Discord coordination. Builders, merchants, explorers, and future town leaders can contribute in different ways instead of following one fixed play style.
The server maintains written rules and provides guidance about client use and mods for players joining the world.
Progression is intended to remain non-pay-to-win, without overpowered donor kits or unfair gameplay advantages.

History of NoorlandMC
NoorlandMC took shape in May 2026 as a Towny Survival project focused on long-term building, player-run trade, and community growth. Its early development period centered on creating custom systems rather than relying only on standard Towny features.
The first major ideas were the custom towns and camps system, campfire-based claims with built-in storage, and towns that could grow through upgrades. Free-roaming NPC workers added another layer by letting players hire help for their settlements.
During May 2026, the server was still moving through closed development while preparing for an open beta scheduled for May 22. By June, it had entered its early public phase with Towny, jobs, a player economy, custom progression, and a no-reset direction already in place.
The world then gained a stronger exploration focus. Expanded Terralith terrain brought more varied biomes, while a separate resource world helped protect the main map from heavy resource gathering. Hidden dungeons, landmarks, and unusual terrain gave builders and explorers more reasons to travel beyond their towns.
Noorland also expanded its systems outside the game. The website added player accounts, Minecraft profile linking, trading access, forums, and a marketplace built around player commerce. Discord remains the main social hub for meeting players, sharing projects, and organizing community activity.
Today, NoorlandMC remains a PvE-oriented Towny world where ranks, jobs, NPC workers, custom gear, quests, claims, and trading all support the same long-term goal: building a town and keeping its history intact.
