About FortuneCraft
FortuneCraft centers on a shared Survival world where players build protected bases, develop a player-run town, trade through custom shops and progress through playtime ranks. Creative plots, SkyWars and a new modded server add separate ways to play, while Java and Bedrock players can share the network.
What Makes It Different
FortuneCraft gives ordinary Survival progression a few server-specific goals without turning the world into an anarchy or heavily RPG-driven mode. The occasional Fortune Hoarder hunt can reward Ancient Ore for tools and armor with special abilities, while FortuneTown provides a shared player-built center for shops and community builds.
Modded Minecraft servers use game mods to add or change mechanics, content, or progression beyond the unmodified game.
A current Create-focused modded server is available through the network.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Players create chest-based TradeShops and advertise them in game.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claiming and permission management are central Survival systems.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The main server experience is a vanilla-style Survival world.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Players share a long-running survival world with bases, towns, shops and community progression.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Ancient Ore creates custom tools, armor, Elytra and Spears with special properties.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
Player bases, towns, shops and builds remain part of an ongoing Survival world.
The main Survival mode keeps normal Minecraft gathering, crafting, exploration and building at its center, then adds land claims, a regularly reset resource world, custom shops, alliances, a modified End and server-side quality-of-life features. Players can switch between Survival, Creative and SkyWars from the network, while the modded mode uses a published NeoForge pack with Create: Aeronautics, new biomes, extra blocks, farming content and bosses.
Survival progression is tied heavily to playtime ranks, moving from Castaway through ranks such as Deckhand, Voyager, Explorer, Seadog and Pirate Lord. Ranks provide claim blocks, longer claim expiration, chat and nickname options, utility commands and other quality-of-life perks. Custom advancements, Fortune Hoarder rewards and Ancient gear add additional objectives beyond standard Minecraft progression.
Custom Survival content includes the Fortune Hoarder, Ancient Ore, Ancient tools, Ancient armor, Ancient Elytra and Ancient Spear variants. Quality-of-life additions cover remote stonecutting, crouch-based Mending repair, custom armor-stand editing, silent mobs, vote-based night skipping, Discord chat integration, proximity voice chat compatibility and server-side support for Distant Horizons.
FortuneTown is the shared center of the Survival world, with player-made buildings and shops ranging from community businesses to large showcase builds. Players can view Survival and Modded through a live 3D map, travel to a separate resource world for mining and use a redesigned End dimension. Claims protect personal bases and allow detailed trust levels for friends, alliance members and managers.
PvP exists through SkyWars and selected Survival challenges, but it is not the organizing rule of the main world. Survival rules prohibit griefing and describe the mode as non-anarchy, while SkyWars has separate restrictions against teaming in Solo maps and exploiting alternate accounts. A custom advancement also rewards collecting player heads.
Players can create chest-based TradeShops that exchange items for other items, set purchase cooldowns and advertise their stock through an in-game adverts interface. Claim blocks can come from playtime ranks, voting, diamonds, Phuzzy Bucks or the official store. Alliances can also enable discounts at member shops.
Recent events have included the Summer 2026 challenge series, lobby parkour, a Creative competition and rewards connected to seasonal activities. Fortune Drops also connect Survival rewards to viewing participating Fortune Partners on Twitch through a separate account-linking system.
The community is organized around a family-friendly Discord, player-built FortuneTown, shared shops and alliances of up to 30 members. Alliance tools include private chat, claim trust, officer roles, shared discounts and group management. Discord players can also communicate with people in the Survival world through the server's chat bridge.
Players must keep builds, chat, signs, skins and names family-friendly. Spam, advertising, hate speech, harassment, cheating, hacked clients, griefing and intentional lag machines are prohibited. Survival claims and builds are protected, but claims can expire after inactivity depending on rank, leaving abandoned unclaimed builds open to removal or claiming. SkyWars adds separate rules against Solo teaming and stat or currency farming with alternate accounts.
The official store sells cosmetic-based ranks with extra network bonuses and claim blocks. Claim blocks can also be earned through playtime, voting and in-game resources, so paid purchases are not the only progression route. Store proceeds are described as supporting network growth, plugins and server hardware.
