About DerinCraft
DerinCraft combines BoxPvP and Factions with Towny instead of centering on a single survival format. Its current Towny mode uses a real-world map, supports Minecraft 1.21 and newer, and lets players reach that map with /rtp.
What Makes It Different
Its clearest differentiator is the Towny world built on real-world geography. That gives the network a more recognizable setting than a standard generated survival map, while BoxPvP and Factions provide separate combat-focused ways to play.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.
The Towny mode uses a real-world map, making recognizable geography central to settlement play.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Towny v1.0 is a current primary mode focused on developing settlements and territory.
BoxPvP is an enclosed Minecraft PvP mode where players gather resources and improve their combat power while fighting in the same compact arena.
BoxPvP is presented as one of DerinCraft’s core current modes and centers on enclosed player combat.
Factions is a Minecraft multiplayer mode where players join organized groups, build shared bases, and compete with rival groups for territory, resources, and strategic advantage.
Factions is a current core mode with faction-specific claims, combat, and competition rules.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
BoxPvP and Factions make direct player-versus-player combat a substantial part of the network.
The network is split across BoxPvP, Factions and Towny. BoxPvP and Factions focus the competitive side of the server, while Towny shifts attention toward building and developing settlements on a real-world map.
Progression depends on the mode. Combat players build strength through BoxPvP or faction competition, while Towny players develop settlements and territory across the map.
Towny's v1.0 mode uses a real-world map and can be reached with /rtp. The mode is advertised for Minecraft 1.21 and newer, making geography a central part of its settlement play.
PvP is central to BoxPvP and Factions. The rules specifically address faction combat, combat avoidance, TPA traps, alternate-account stat farming and exploit abuse, so fighting is governed by server-wide enforcement rather than left entirely open.
The rules cover in-game money, player trading, sales competition and fraud. Real-money trading of accounts or in-game goods is prohibited, as are scams and attempts to undermine another player's sales.
DerinCraft uses Discord for community contact and player support. The network added a dedicated Discord support system in May 2026.
Cheating, harassment, excessive abuse, impersonation, scams, account theft, exploit abuse and advertising other servers are prohibited. Faction-specific rules also cover claim permissions, combat escapes, TPA traps and unfair stat or money farming. Punishments can apply across the whole network, not only the mode where the violation occurred.
The official site promotes a store selling time-limited VIP and VIP+ memberships, including 30-day products. It also advertises seasonal discounts across the network.
Network-wide punishments apply server disciplinary consequences across multiple connected modes rather than limiting them to one game area.
DerinCraft states that violations committed in individual modes can result in punishments applying across the entire network.
TPA trap restrictions limit using teleport requests to lure players into unfair or deliberately dangerous combat situations.
DerinCraft’s faction rules specifically prohibit or regulate TPA traps as part of fair-play enforcement.
Random teleportation moves players to a randomly selected location, helping them reach unexplored areas without choosing exact coordinates.
DerinCraft provides access to its real-world Towny map through the /rtp command.
Combat escape restrictions prevent players from avoiding active fights through prohibited disengagement methods or abrupt combat exits.
DerinCraft’s faction rules specifically address combat avoidance, including restrictions connected to escaping fights.
