About MegaCraft
MegaCraft is a cross-platform network with several distinct ways to play. Slimefun Survival adds machines, unusual food recipes, and a shop-driven economy to the survival grind. The Avatar side offers Towny, Survival, Factions, and dedicated Arenas.
What Makes It Different
MegaCraft combines two very different games under one hub: machine-heavy Slimefun Survival and Avatar combat with custom bending moves. You can build an economy one day and fight with elemental abilities the next.
Factions is a Minecraft multiplayer mode where players join organized groups, build shared bases, and compete with rival groups for territory, resources, and strategic advantage.
Avatar Factions is a dedicated current server branch.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Avatar Towny is a dedicated current server branch.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Avatar Arenas and custom bending make player combat a major part of the network.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Slimefun Survival and Avatar Survival are two of the network's main destinations.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Slimefun Survival emphasizes shops, custom production, money, and commerce.
Join the hub and choose between Slimefun Survival, Avatar Towny, Avatar Survival, Avatar Factions, or Avatar Arenas. Each branch has a different pace, from building and trading to settlement play, faction competition, or quick fights.
Slimefun progression revolves around machines, custom recipes, and growing a trading empire. Avatar players can build up towns or factions. Arenas add ranked duels alongside unranked fights for players who want a more competitive goal.
Custom content includes Slimefun machines, unusual food combinations, magical equipment, custom bending styles, and special moves such as Sunshine Bending. Avatar Arenas also use custom combat abilities rather than relying only on standard Minecraft weapons.
The network is split into separate Avatar and Slimefun destinations connected through a hub. The End was reset across all servers in 2024, while the Nether was kept intact at that time. End map downloads were prepared so players could preserve old builds.
Avatar Arenas supports fights against several players and one-on-one duels. Both ranked and unranked formats are available. Custom bending moves, including Sunshine Bending, give combat a very different feel from vanilla sword PvP.
Slimefun Survival uses custom machines, food recipes, shops, and player commerce as major parts of its economy. Voting can also provide in-game money and items, with rewards varying by server branch.
MegaCraft runs anniversary and seasonal events with build contests, drop parties, quests, shops, rides, minigames, special rewards, and themed activities such as an Egg Hunt.
Discord is used for connection help and community coordination. The network also has applications for staff, building, development, art, marketing, and player-run events, along with player reports and ban or mute appeals.
The official store sells ranks, seasonal ranks, and custom abilities. Voting provides free in-game rewards such as money and items. Store fulfillment and billing support are handled through Tebex.

History of MegaCraft
MegaCraft opened on July 19, 2011, and has grown into a long-running multi-mode Minecraft network rather than a single survival world.
By August 2020, the server had recently reopened with a customized Main survival experience, an Avatar-inspired Bending mode, Creative, and Skyblock offerings. The survival side already featured custom machines, unusual food, special equipment, and player shops, while Bending focused on custom elemental abilities and PvP.
The network later organized its main experiences around Avatar Towny, Avatar Survival, Avatar Factions, Avatar Arenas, and Slimefun Survival. The modern structure keeps the custom survival and elemental-combat ideas while giving each style its own destination behind the hub.
In 2024, the End was reset across the network's servers after players supported the change for Avatar Towny and Survival. Avatar Factions and Slimefun Survival were included as well. Nether resets were postponed, and downloadable copies of the End maps were prepared for players who wanted to preserve old builds.
MegaCraft's 13th-anniversary celebration in July 2024 added a revamped map alongside build contests, rank-up prizes, custom moves, rides, quests, shops, drop parties, and other activities.
The 14th anniversary in July 2025 continued that event tradition with improved shops, rides, minigames, opening-day rewards, and a Towny referral contest. By March 2026, seasonal events still included quests, an Egg Hunt, a shop, rides, and build competitions.
Today, MegaCraft combines Slimefun progression, Avatar-themed communities and factions, and arena combat under one Java-and-Bedrock network. Its long history shows up in the mix of persistent community spaces, custom abilities, seasonal events, and several very different server branches.
