DerinCraft combines BoxPvP and Factions with Towny instead of centering on a single survival format. Its current Towny mode uses a real-world map, supports Minecraft 1.21 and newer, and lets players reach that map with /rtp.
What Makes It Different
Its clearest differentiator is the Towny world built on real-world geography. That gives the network a more recognizable setting than a standard generated survival map, while BoxPvP and Factions provide separate combat-focused ways to play.

PvP is central to BoxPvP and Factions. The rules specifically address faction combat, combat avoidance, TPA traps, alternate-account stat farming and exploit abuse, so fighting is governed by server-wide enforcement rather than left entirely open.
The rules cover in-game money, player trading, sales competition and fraud. Real-money trading of accounts or in-game goods is prohibited, as are scams and attempts to undermine another player's sales.
DerinCraft uses Discord for community contact and player support. The network added a dedicated Discord support system in May 2026.
Cheating, harassment, excessive abuse, impersonation, scams, account theft, exploit abuse and advertising other servers are prohibited. Faction-specific rules also cover claim permissions, combat escapes, TPA traps and unfair stat or money farming. Punishments can apply across the whole network, not only the mode where the violation occurred.
The official site promotes a store selling time-limited VIP and VIP+ memberships, including 30-day products. It also advertises seasonal discounts across the network.
Network-wide punishments apply server disciplinary consequences across multiple connected modes rather than limiting them to one game area.

History of DerinCraft
DerinCraft presents BoxPvP and Factions as the modes from which the network grew. A Discord support system was added on May 27, 2026, strengthening its off-server support channel.
Towny v1.0 opened on August 19, 2026. The launch added a real-world map for settlement play and targeted Minecraft 1.21 and newer versions, giving the network a broader world-building mode alongside its combat-focused servers.
