About ColorGens
ColorGens is a Gens server. In Gens, you build generators that make items you sell for money. You start on your own island, place generators, sell their drops and spend the money on better tiers. There are 28 generator tiers, plus a gamble wheel that can help you skip ahead.
Season 2 adds more to do: farming, mining and fishing with tools that level up, story quests with NPCs, minigames and boss fights. You can share your island with friends, keep pets and trade on the auction house. Java and Bedrock players can play together, and new players get a starter kit.
The whole server is built around placing and upgrading generators on your island.
You sell generator drops for money and trade with players on the auction house.
You place generators on your island, sell what they drop and use the money to unlock higher tiers. Besides generators you can farm, mine and fish, and story quests send you to NPCs, minigames and bosses.
Generators go up through 28 tiers. Your farming, mining and fishing tools level up as you use them, and a gamble wheel can push you ahead faster if you get lucky.
You can invite friends to your island and give them roles, and players trade with each other or through the auction house.
Free to play. The store sells ranks, crates, bundles and sell wands. Ranks are bought once and kept for good, while keys and cosmetics go away once you use them.
You can put items up for sale on the auction house for other players to buy.
You can trade items directly with other players on the server.
New players get a starter kit to help them set up their first generators.
Sell wands from the store let you sell all your items in one go.
Boss fights are part of the Season 2 story quests.
You open crates for loot, including monthly, mystery and limited Halloween crates.
You can collect pets, and the server is currently promoting a Verity Pet.
You can share your island with friends and give each of them a role.
You place generators on your island that drop items to sell, and upgrade them through 28 tiers.
A custom resource pack adds the server's own items, menus and models.
Story quests send you to talk to NPCs, play minigames and fight bosses.
Java and Bedrock players join the same ColorGens world and play together.
