About Chromabit
Chromabit is a Java survival server built around money. Mine, farm, trade, run shops, and turn mob drops into cash with custom spawners. A balance leaderboard gives your work a clear target.
Your builds, chests, and land are protected, so the main challenge is growing faster than other players in the market. Regular events add another contest, with store credit awarded to the top five finishers.
What Makes It Different
Chromabit makes ordinary survival feel like a business race. Spawners automate part of the grind, while player shops and events give every farm, trade, and sale a competitive purpose.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
The server is built around player trade, shops, wealth, and a balance leaderboard.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Protected land and grief prevention are central parts of the server's current experience.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The official server identity is an Economy SMP.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather resources, build bases, and progress through a survival world.
Begin with normal survival gathering, then use /shop and player trading to turn resources into money. Custom spawners store mob drops and can feed hoppers, letting you automate part of the grind.
Use /rankup to move through server ranks. Each rank unlocks new perks, and the highest rank grants special items such as Sell Chests. Spawners can come from the world, /shop, or the Spawner Crate.
Custom spawners generate mob loot and experience, store drops inside the spawner, and support hopper collection. Spawner Crate rewards are available through ranking up, voting, or the store.
Players build bases, shops, and large projects in a survival world. Grief prevention protects land, buildings, chests, and other storage from destruction by other players.
The economy is player-driven. Players buy, sell, trade, run shops, and compete on a balance leaderboard. The Auction House is available as a beta market for item trading.
Server events are announced through Discord and do not require an entry fee. The top five players receive store credit in a 100, 50, 25, 10, and 5 reward structure. Winners claim prizes through the Discord prize-claims channel.
Discord is used for event announcements, prize claims, support tickets, and community communication.
The web store offers ranks, crate keys, and other paid packages through Tebex. Event winners receive store credit that can be spent on store items.

History of Chromabit
A ChromaBit server using play.chromabit.us was already operating by May 22, 2022. Its early identity centered on economy survival, land claims, building, and quality-of-life additions.
In June 2026, ChromaBit entered a fresh launch era built around a clean economy, weekly competition, quests, NPCs, rewards, and community events. Early promotional material tied the server's main contest to cash prizes and leaderboard performance.
The reward model later settled around store credit rather than direct cash payouts. The current event structure pays 100, 50, 25, 10, and 5 store-credit units to the top five players, with no entry fee.
By late June 2026, ChromaBit was operating as a Java Economy SMP with the play.chromabit.us address and a 90-player listed capacity. The server's gameplay focus had narrowed around survival building, player trade, protected land, and competitive wealth.
The current version adds a stronger automation layer. Custom spawners store mob drops and experience, work with hoppers, and feed the player market. A beta Auction House also gives the economy a dedicated trading space.
Today, Chromabit is a compact economy-focused survival server. Its identity comes from combining protected building with market competition, rank progression, automated spawners, and event rewards that can be spent in the web store.
