About Boocord
Boocord is a survival SMP built for shared towns, large builds, and steady long-term goals. Gather resources, protect your land, trade with other players, and improve skills while working with friends.
What Makes It Different
Boocord combines a protected building-focused SMP with optional in-game proximity voice chat. Java and Bedrock players share the same network, while claims and town subclaims make large group projects easier to protect.
Proximity voice chat lets Minecraft players speak through audio that becomes quieter or inaudible as their in-game characters move apart.
Optional Simple Voice Chat proximity audio and groups are prominent differentiators.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claims, cities, subclaims, trust tools, and protection from griefing strongly shape the server.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Shared multiplayer survival and community building are central to the experience.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a survival SMP.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Thaler, trading, chest shops, auctions, and a server shop form a major gameplay system.
Start in the main spawn world, gather materials, build a base, and use the menu to manage claims, homes, ender chests, cosmetics, and other tools. Java players can open the shortcut menu with F, while Bedrock players use /menu. Claims support trust settings, claim flags, cities, and subclaims.
Progress comes from skill XP, mob levels, mana abilities, personal goals, and clan activity. The AFK world can provide skill XP, items, and experience while also giving players a separate place to relax. Clans complete building goals and compete on shared leaderboards.
Custom content includes skills, mana abilities, mob levels, cosmetics, pets, adjustable player size, particle effects, glow effects, vehicles, and custom music discs. Custom discs can connect in-game music with the Boocord Music service through Simple Voice Chat.
Boocord includes a main spawn and build world associated with Retrophy, a second build world using the Terralith terrain generator, separate Nether and End worlds, an AFK world, and combat-focused areas. The End supports shared dragon fights, Elytra travel, and End City exploration.
PvP is consensual rather than forced. Players can fight in dedicated combat areas such as Paradise Island, but nobody may pressure another player to enable PvP. Traps against players with PvP disabled are forbidden.
The economy uses Thaler and supports player trading through /trade, chest shops, the auction house, and a server shop. Players can earn money by selling resources and useful items to the community. Donations also provide Runes for special items such as custom music discs.
Events include in-game concerts, live podcasts, building events, minigames, surprises, and Rune drops. The event style mixes community activities with playable server content rather than focusing only on competitive matches.
Boocord has a German-speaking Discord community with voice channels, ticket support, server communication, and links between Discord and Minecraft chat. Community feedback and creator involvement are part of the server's development style.
PvP must be wanted by everyone involved. Hacks, fraud, X-ray, combat automation, unfair advantages, and exploit abuse are banned. Claims should protect active or planned builds, while griefing is limited to designated farm worlds. Heavy lag machines are restricted, spawner farms are limited to ten spawners, and separate spawner farms must be at least three chunks apart.
Boocord is free to join and does not require purchases for the main survival experience. Donations support the project and provide Core, Plus, Premium, and Ultra tiers focused on cosmetics and convenience, including pets, vehicles, particles, vanish, faster flight, extra ender chests, and other visual perks. Bedrock compatibility is not guaranteed for every donor vehicle.

History of Boocord
Boocord traces its survival identity to 2018. From the beginning, it focused on a lasting multiplayer world where players could build together rather than rush through short seasons.
As that world developed, Boocord built its identity around player-controlled spaces. Claims, cities, subclaims, trust systems, and claim flags gave communities more control over shared settlements and personal builds. Unlimited homes and GUI shortcuts supported a practical, persistent style of play, while an AFK world provided a separate place for players who needed to step away.
The server’s gameplay expanded beyond building and protection. Skills and mana abilities added progression, while clans gave players another way to organize. Events became part of the server’s rhythm, including building events, minigames, surprises, and Rune drops.
Boocord also developed an in-game economy using Thaler. Trading could happen directly through /trade, through chest shops, or through the auction house and server shop. Economy updates became part of the server’s ongoing development rather than a fixed launch feature.
Its social identity grew alongside its systems. Boocord hosted in-game concerts and live podcasts, creating activities that were not limited to survival progression. Optional voice chat offered another way for players to communicate while playing together.
Customization became another lasting part of the experience. Donor and Rune content introduced custom music discs, pets, vehicles, particle and glow effects, player-size changes, vanish, and additional ender chests. These additions gave players ways to personalize their presence without changing the server’s central survival focus.
Boocord is operated by Boocord Studios, with Noel Tim Geldschläger identified as its legal operator. Discord tickets are used for moderation appeals, linking the in-game community to an ongoing support structure.
Today, Boocord remains a persistent survival network shaped by shared building, community events, player-run trade, and layered progression. Its official join page lists Java Edition version 1.21.11, while the network continues to update as its gameplay and economy develop.
