About 0b0t
0b0t is a Java-and-Bedrock anarchy server built around vanilla survival and a long-lived world. Spawn is damaged, distant builds can be ancient, and the landscape is full of ruins, highways and player projects.
What Makes It Different
The world carries years of player history instead of feeling like a fresh map. Its second defining trait is total freedom: players, not quests or protected plots, shape what happens.
Anarchy is a Minecraft server style where players operate under very few enforced rules, leaving survival and conflict largely in player hands.
No formal gameplay rules, open destruction and unrestricted player behavior are central to the server.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.
Raiding and destruction are explicitly allowed.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The official description presents the server as vanilla survival rather than a heavily customized mode.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is built around vanilla survival gameplay.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Open player-versus-player combat is a core part of the experience.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The current world is based on the old 8ut map and is presented as a long-lived world full of historical builds.
Getting away from spawn is the first real challenge. From there, players make stashes, bases, highways and large group projects while deciding how much of their work to expose. The world also has an active map-art scene.
Progress is self-directed. A successful player may focus on escaping spawn, collecting rare supplies, reaching distant regions, joining a group or leaving behind a build that lasts.
The server stays close to vanilla survival. Its unusual content comes from player-made bases, map art, highways, ruins and other long-term projects rather than a large collection of custom RPG systems.
The world is a heavily altered survival landscape filled with ruins and old player construction. The current map was revived from the original 8ut-era world, and the listed seed is -4172144997902289642, also associated with 2b2t.
PvP is open and unrestricted. Raiding, griefing and hacked clients are allowed, so fights can begin without warning and a base can become a target at any time.
The community is organized around player groups, shared builds, map art and long-distance projects. An official Discord provides the main community hub.
0b0t has no formal gameplay rules. Hacking, swearing, raiding, destruction and griefing are allowed.
Joining and playing is free. Donations help cover hardware, internet and electricity costs.

History of 0b0t
0b0t began in July 2016 as a no-queue alternative to 2b2t. The first server lasted about two months before shutting down, creating the short-lived 8ut era.
The server returned through several ownership periods, including the lee era from December 2017 to October 2018. Those years brought resets, outages and repeated attempts to keep the 0b0t name alive.
In March 2019, A Server Owner For Fun revived 0b0t and based the new server on the old 8ut map. That decision gave the server a stronger sense of continuity than a clean new-world launch.
The following years were divided into named eras: A Server Owner For Fun from March 2019 to March 2020, Encore Edition SARS-CoV-2 from March 2020 to March 2021, 4 Owners 4 Fun from March to September 2021, Trinity from September to November 2021, Double Trouble from November 2021 to January 2022, and another Trinity era through September 2022.
Since September 2022, 0b0t has been in the Limbo era. The server remains maintained by A Server Owner For Fun, with the old world, player-built landmarks and anarchy rules still defining the experience.
Today, 0b0t is a persistent vanilla-style anarchy world where groups build bases, create map art, travel long highways and fight over whatever survives outside spawn.
