About VintageSky
VintageSky is a cross-platform Skyblock server. Start with a small island and limited resources, then grow farms, build upward, and turn your island into a powerful base. Solo and team islands are supported.
Progress comes from challenges, quests, custom bosses, player shops, and a busy economy. The island-top leaderboard adds a serious race for players who want more than a relaxed building experience.
What Makes It Different
VintageSky combines friendly island building with a serious race for island value. You can play casually, or optimize farms, trade, fight bosses, and chase the top leaderboard.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
The server's central game mode is island-based Skyblock progression.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Skycoins, player shops, auctions, buying, selling, and trading are key systems.
Choose a solo or team island and begin with a custom island schematic. Gather limited resources, expand your space, build farms, and improve your island over time. Challenges and quests provide extra goals beyond normal building. Island value is tracked through the /is top competition.
Progress comes from expanding the island, completing challenges and quests, earning Skycoins, collecting better gear, and increasing island value. Seasonal resets can remove ordinary items, while purchased ranks and perks are designed to remain.
VintageSky adds custom island schematics, custom bosses, quests, special items, custom pickaxes, kits, and server-specific progression systems. Rubies provide access to additional items, boosters, bundles, and crate keys through /rubyshop.
The main experience is built around personal Skyblock islands rather than a normal survival map. Each island starts small and grows into a larger base with farms, storage, builds, and production areas.
PvP is part of the server's competitive play, including KOTH-style events. Kill boosting, TP trapping, inventory flooding, PvP autoclicking, and unfair modifications are prohibited.
Players earn and spend Skycoins while buying, selling, and trading resources. Player shops and auctions support the marketplace. Island value and the /is top leaderboard give the economy a competitive purpose.
KOTH and a separate Events setting are part of the competitive experience. Event cheating, restriction bypasses, alt participation for unfair advantages, and other forms of event abuse are prohibited.
Players can work alone or form island teams. Discord support is available through tickets, with email offered as a backup contact method. Public chat is English-focused, while private, party, and island chat allow other languages.
The server prohibits harassment, racism, threats, advertising competing servers, griefing, scamming, duping, botting, hacking, autoclicking, unfair macros, and exploit abuse. Players may use only approved modifications or modifications explicitly allowed by staff. Skyblock teams must keep their wealth on one island and avoid leaderboard boosting.
Joining the server is free. The official store sells permanent ranks, rank upgrades, Rubies, perks, and permanent GKits. Ranks can add commands, kits, extra homes, auction slots, Skycoin multipliers, mcMMO bonuses, and other gameplay advantages. Store payments are normally final, with limited exceptions for technical problems.

History of VintageSky
VintageSky was publicly running by July 2025 as a Skyblock server built around island growth and competitive progression.
Its first season focused on custom island schematics, limited starting resources, and the challenge of turning a small platform into a large sky empire. Solo and team play were both part of the design.
During August 2025, the server expanded its reach through Java-and-Bedrock gameplay. Players on different editions could join the same Skyblock experience and work on their islands together.
As the server developed, its identity settled around enhanced Skyblock rather than plain vanilla survival. Challenges, quests, custom bosses, player shops, trading, and island-top competition became central parts of the experience.
The server also built a formal competitive structure around island rules. Teams and solo players face restrictions on alternate islands, boosting, exploit use, and actions that could distort the island-top rankings.
Today, VintageSky remains a large cross-platform Skyblock server with custom progression, seasonal gameplay, player commerce, event competitions, and a dedicated Discord community.
