Vestlandet is a Norwegian survival server built around working together and a busy player economy. You start at spawn with a little money, pick two jobs like miner or farmer, and earn more as your mcMMO skills grow. Sell spare loot on the Auction House or in your own VestShop chest shop.
The overworld is 30,000 blocks wide, with fresh 26.3 land past the old border. Ranks from Ny to Netherite are earned in game, not bought, and add homes, kits and a bigger backpack. Watch your chests: the rules allow griefing and stealing if you manage it. Chat is in Norwegian, and Bedrock players can join too.
What Makes It Different
The team builds its own tools, from the VestShop chest shops to custom ice tools and a player stats site, and shares its yearly finances openly.

Classic survival with land claims, jobs and mcMMO. Custom recipes add ice tools and an ice bow made with a heart of the sea, reinforced elytra that keep a chestplate's armour, and safari nets for moving animals and villagers.
Eight ranks, each with ten levels, are earned with playtime, skill levels, crafted items and in-game money, then claimed with /rankup. Higher ranks add homes, Auction House slots, teleporters and, at Netherite, keep inventory.
A 30,000 by 30,000 block overworld. Everything past 12,000 blocks was newly made in 2026 with Dappled Forests and sulfur caves.
PvP is optional. You can only kill players who have PvP mode turned on, and trapping players with lava or mobs outside PvP is against the rules.
Jobs pay per action up to an hourly limit. Players trade on the Auction House, set up VestShop chest shops in their claim or rent a stall at the market, and a search finds the cheapest shop for any item.
A Norwegian community for all ages, with a guide for parents, a live web map and a player site with stats and leaderboards.
Keep claims at least 200 blocks from others, no hacks (OptiFine is fine), no AFK playtime machines or redstone clocks, and keep chat suitable for all ages. Griefing and stealing are allowed if you manage it, even on claims, so only trust people you trust.
Free to play. The store sells VIP ranks and community packages, like an XP boost that helps every player online.

History of Vestlandet MC
Vestlandet was already running in 2018, and it has kept going while many Norwegian servers closed. In June 2021 it did a full reset with a new spawn, opened its own webshop, and in July 2021 moved to a new website.
The 1.18 update arrived in December 2021. In autumn 2022 came Vestlandet 1.19, a reset with a new claim system, and the team reported a stable start in October. The server moved to 1.21 on 26 July 2024.
2026 was busy. VestShop chest shops arrived with 26.2 in July, Bedrock players could join from 30 July, and on 2 October the 26.3 update grew the overworld to 30,000 blocks.
