About Vanilla Haven
Vanilla Haven keeps the core Minecraft survival loop mostly intact, but removes the safety net of land claims. Griefing is allowed, PvP is part of normal survival, and players rely on distance, diplomacy, clans, and careful base placement to protect their work. Spawn has special protection, while /wild, player teleports, and six default homes make travel practical.
What Makes It Different
The defining twist is simple: Vanilla Haven gives players useful survival commands without giving them land claims. Your base can be defended through planning and cooperation, but the wider world remains open to griefing and conflict.
Freebuild is a Minecraft building mode centered on creating structures and landscapes without a required combat, quest, or level-progression path.
Players build freely without land claims, although griefing remains allowed.
Clans are player-organized teams that cooperate under a shared name, membership, and allegiance.
Clans provide shared organization and clan homes.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server preserves normal Minecraft survival while adding lightweight commands and plugins.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The main server is a survival world with vanilla-style progression.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is built around shared multiplayer survival rather than isolated modes.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Open-world survival PvP and a dedicated PvP server are central features.
Use /wild to leave spawn, /tp to request a teleport, and your homes to build a personal travel network. Six homes are available by default. Clans add shared organization and a shared clan home without turning the server into a full factions mode.
Progression stays close to vanilla gear and exploration, with extra goals coming from spawn traders, vote rewards, clan play, cosmetics, and combat. Traders exchange special items for netherite ingots, nether stars, and other valuable materials.
Custom systems include clans, spawn traders, cosmetic auras, spawn holograms, player profiles, health indicators under name tags, rank-colored tab lists, and the /gamesettings command. Players can personalize chat, death messages, coordinates, phantoms, pet teleporting, visual time and weather, aura visibility, and other interface options.
The survival world uses the default 30-million-by-30-million block size. It does not receive a full world wipe, but inactive regions are cleaned weekly when their chunks have not been loaded for at least ten minutes. The server also adjusts render distance and mob spawning automatically when performance drops.
Survival PvP is built into the world. Spawn uses a tagging system that protects players until they attack or place or break a block. Combat tagging was later extended to 20 seconds, with firework rockets disabled during the tag. A separate PvP server offers premade kits for traditional sword combat and crystal PvP.
The server has item-based trading rather than a heavily layered RPG economy. Spawn traders sell miscellaneous items for costly materials such as netherite ingots and nether stars. Aura keys can also be obtained with 32 gold coins, while voting can award useful blocks and other random rewards.
Spawn events give rewards to participating players. Voting through /vote can award anything from minor items to shulkers containing useful blocks. The server also accepts player suggestions for new rewards and PvP modes.
Discord can be linked to Minecraft with /link, creating a two-way chat bridge between the server and Discord. Discord messages pass through a chat filter, and players can adjust whether bridge messages appear in game.
Cheating is prohibited. Griefing is allowed, and there are no land claims. Spawn has special PvP protection until a player becomes tagged through combat or certain block actions. Player reports, bug reports, and ban appeals are supported.
The official store sells temporary and lifetime ranks, premium chat colors, pets, enchanted items, consumables, and keys. Store purchases support the server, while in-game rewards and progression can also be earned through play without buying ranks.
