You spawn into a world that has been running without a single reset since 2020. Spawn was built by players, old group bases still stand out in the wild, and nobody is going to hand you a claim. The server calls itself semi-anarchy: more lawless than anything else.
Only a few rules exist. No lag machines, no hacked clients or x-ray, no exploits, and zero tolerance for doxxing or real-life threats. Carpet, rail and TNT duping are allowed. It is Java Edition, plain vanilla survival in English, hosted in Europe.
What Makes It Different
The world has never been reset since March 2020, and the rules stop only at cheating, lag and real-life harm.

Fighting other players is allowed across the whole world.
Plain vanilla survival in an old, shared world. You gather, build, travel out past the old bases and fight or avoid other players. Approved mods include Simple Voice Chat and Xaero's maps.
One vanilla world with the full 30 million block border and no resets. The Nether roof is closed off with void damage.
PvP is part of the game everywhere. Auto clickers are allowed for farms but banned in PvP, and anything that looks like x-ray or ESP is treated as cheating.
Banned: lag machines, hacked clients, radar and x-ray, unfair exploits, doxxing and real-life threats. Allowed: carpet, rail and TNT duping, composter glitching and pieray.
Free to play. The store sells monthly cosmetic ranks, and the two cheaper ranks can also be earned with Vote Points.
Voting for the server earns Vote Points you can trade for cosmetic perks and the Ember or Flare rank.
The store only sells cosmetic ranks like chat colors, nickname colors and hats.
Ranks unlock chat gradients, rainbow nicknames, colored signs and anvil names, and the hat command.
The world has run without a reset since 10 March 2020, so old bases and trails are still out there.
Simple Voice Chat is on the approved mod list, so you can talk to nearby players in game.

History of UneasyVanilla
UneasyVanilla opened on 10 March 2020 with one idea: play Minecraft the way it was made, with as few rules as possible. The world it started that day is still the one players log into.
Groups dug in for the long haul. One of the best-known group bases on the server was founded in 2022 and is still standing years later, next to a spawn that players built themselves. Six years on, the map has never been reset, and every crater, tunnel and abandoned base is still part of it.
