About SquareFace
SquareFace centers on persistent Minecraft building rather than seasonal resets. The main mode combines resource gathering, protected land, shops, homes, farms and flight, with separate worlds for resources and automated farming. A shared lobby, chat and tab connect the main survival experience to OneBlock, SkyBlock, SkyGrid, Boxed, Creative, Magic, Ocean, Achievements, Anarchy, Vanilla and Industrial modes.
What Makes It Different
The defining difference is the combination of a no-wipe main survival world and a broad set of specialized modes on the same network. Players can keep developing long-term builds while switching to compact progression formats such as OneBlock, Boxed or SkyGrid without leaving the community.
SkyGrid is a Minecraft survival layout where blocks are suspended at regular three-dimensional intervals, leaving open air between them instead of forming continuous terrain.
SkyGrid is an active mode using a suspended three-dimensional block-grid survival layout.
Boxed is a Minecraft progression mode that confines players to a small enclosed space and makes expanding that space the main route to advancement.
Boxed is an active expanding survival mode whose available space grows through achievement progression.
Magic servers make supernatural abilities a substantial part of Minecraft progression or combat.
Magic is a current mode featuring spell learning, magical crafting, and custom world generation.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The Main mode and several alternate worlds center on resource gathering, building, and survival progression.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The Main world has operated without a wipe since 2019, preserving long-term player construction and progress.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
SkyBlock is documented as an active network mode offering a distinct floating-island survival format.
OneBlock is a Minecraft mode built around repeatedly mining one regenerating block to gather resources and advance through phases.
OneBlock is an active mode built around repeatedly breaking a changing regenerating block for progression.
Creative is a Minecraft building mode where players construct and test structures with unrestricted access to building materials instead of gathering them through survival play.
Creative is a current mode with unrestricted construction supported by WorldEdit, VoxelSniper, Arceon, and BuilderUtilities.
Anarchy is a Minecraft server style where players operate under very few enforced rules, leaving survival and conflict largely in player hands.
The Anarchy mode removes land claims and enforced rules, with cheats permitted only in that mode.
The Main mode is simplified survival with land protection, player and administration shops, multiple homes, a farm world and a resource world. Other modes change the premise substantially: OneBlock replaces the normal mine with a regenerating resource block, Boxed expands as achievements are completed, SkyGrid places survival on a suspended block grid, and Magic adds spells and unusual world generation.
Progression ranges from long-term construction and resource management on the Main world to structured goals in the alternate modes. Boxed expands through achievements, the Achievements mode contains roughly 1,000 objectives, SkyGrid includes a skill system, and Magic unlocks spells and magical crafting. OneBlock advances by repeatedly breaking its changing block and using each new resource to expand.
Custom systems include land protection, flight on the Main mode, spells and magical items, a skill system in SkyGrid, achievement-driven progression, creative building tools such as WorldEdit, VoxelSniper, Arceon and BuilderUtilities, and the Industrial mode with additional Minecraft mods.
The Main world has operated without a wipe since 2019. Resource and farm worlds keep extraction and automated production away from the main building areas, while other modes use distinct layouts such as floating islands, a three-dimensional block grid, an expanding box, an ocean setting and custom Magic generation.
Anarchy is the network's lawless PvP option. It has no land claims or enforced rules, and cheats are permitted only on that mode. The other documented modes are primarily focused on survival, building or PvE progression rather than constant player combat.
The Main mode uses sign-based shops where players can buy and sell items by interacting with shop signs and entering quantities in chat. Player shops and administration shops support the survival economy, while server-wide conveniences are described as available through in-game currency or achievements.
All modes share a common chat and tab, so players can communicate across the network. The server also connects its community through Discord and Telegram.
Rules vary by mode. On the Main world, above-ground resources such as sand, dirt and wood are restricted to the resource world, while automatic and semi-automatic farms belong in the farm world. Unfinished homes can be removed from city plots after a week. Anarchy is the exception, with no protections or enforced rules and cheats allowed only there.
The network advertises no paid gameplay advantages. Its stated approach is to make server capabilities available through in-game currency or achievements rather than purchased power.
Achievement-gated expansion unlocks additional building or play space when players complete tracked objectives rather than expanding freely from the start.
In SquareFace’s Boxed mode, the survival box grows as players complete achievements, tying available space directly to objective progress.
Advanced building tools provide specialized editing, sculpting, or utility functions that accelerate large-scale construction beyond ordinary block placement.
SquareFace Creative provides WorldEdit, VoxelSniper, Arceon, and BuilderUtilities for specialized construction workflows.
A resource world provides a separate area for gathering materials without making the primary settlement world the only mining destination.
SquareFace provides a separate resource world; above-ground materials such as sand, dirt, and wood are directed there instead of the Main world.
Sign-based shops use placed signs as an item-selling interface, letting players or administrators offer goods directly within the game world.
SquareFace’s Main economy uses shop signs for player and administration shops; buyers interact with signs and enter quantities in chat.
World-specific resource rules reserve certain materials or activities for designated worlds, separating extraction and production from main building areas.
SquareFace restricts sand, dirt, and wood to the resource world and automated or semi-automatic farms to the farm world.
A farm world is a dedicated area for crop, animal, or automated production, keeping intensive farming activity separate from other server areas.
SquareFace assigns automated and semi-automatic farms to a separate farm world, keeping production away from the main building areas.
Survival flight grants players temporary or otherwise limited aerial movement within a survival environment through a server-specific permission or perk.
Flight is available in SquareFace’s Main mode, supporting movement and construction while that world retains its simplified-survival identity.
Achievement objectives are tracked tasks that record completed milestones and give players structured goals to pursue.
SquareFace’s dedicated Achievements mode contains roughly 1,000 objectives, providing an extensive checklist alongside its other progression paths.
Multiple homes allow players to save several teleport destinations for convenient travel between bases and important locations.
SquareFace’s Main mode provides multiple homes, allowing players to maintain several personal destinations alongside a long-term survival base.
Cross-mode chat lets players communicate across separate server worlds or game modes without needing to join the same play area.
SquareFace connects its modes through shared chat and a common tab, so players can communicate while using different worlds.
Custom world generation changes terrain layout and environmental variety beyond Minecraft's standard world-generation rules.
SquareFace’s Magic mode uses custom world generation alongside its other magical survival systems.
