About BudgieNet
BudgieNet is a multi-mode network built around several flavors of long-term Minecraft progression. Survival adds land claims, McMMO skills, ranks, markets, crates, dungeons and custom equipment without abandoning the normal Overworld grind.
Skyblock turns a small island into a long challenge run with more than 100 objectives, public islands, bosses and loot. SkyGrid is harsher and more unpredictable, placing ores, spawners and danger across a massive block grid. Creative and Vanilla provide quieter alternatives when you want to build or play closer to standard Minecraft.
What Makes It Different
BudgieNet puts deep progression on top of familiar Minecraft modes instead of making players choose between a pure Survival server and a heavily scripted network. Its SkyGrid mode is the sharpest contrast: valuable ores and spawners are scattered through a dangerous block grid, while Survival uses claims, McMMO, ranks and dungeons to stretch out the normal grind.
SkyGrid is a Minecraft survival layout where blocks are suspended at regular three-dimensional intervals, leaving open air between them instead of forming continuous terrain.
SkyGrid is a dedicated mode built around a dangerous block grid, achievements and ranks.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Skyblock is a full network mode with islands, challenges, public islands and bosses.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the network's main progression mode and includes claims, McMMO, ranks, markets and dungeons.
Use the hub to move between Survival, Skyblock, SkyGrid, Creative and Vanilla. Survival supports claims, homes, player warps, markets and rank progression. Skyblock uses island teams, island visits, public islands and challenge rewards. Creative gives each player one protected plot with trust, merging, biome changes, music and WorldEdit-style brushes.
Survival progression runs through McMMO skills, named ranks, extra homes, guild access and Prestige. Reaching God rank opens the Prestige dungeon path. Skyblock has more than 100 challenges with individual rewards. SkyGrid has ten ranks and more than 100 achievements to chase.
The network adds McMMO skills, rank abilities, dungeons, Prestige progression, custom equipment, crates, vote rewards, public Skyblock islands and SkyGrid achievements. These systems are layered onto Paper-based Minecraft rather than replacing the basic game with a separate modpack.
Survival uses protected land claims that extend from bedrock to world height. Players earn claim blocks over time, with a storage limit of 50,000 before buying more. Skyblock uses private floating islands plus public islands with stronger monsters and additional resources. SkyGrid spreads the world into a dense grid filled with valuable blocks, ores and spawners.
PvP is disabled inside land claims. The rules also prohibit teleport-killing and attacks around claimed land, Skyblock islands and Creative plots. The network's main combat focus is PvE, including Survival dungeons, boss fights and dangerous SkyGrid exploration.
Survival and SkyGrid use player markets, chest shops and auction-style trading. Market plots can be rented, stocked from chests and managed with staff permissions. Claim blocks can be purchased with in-game money, while voting provides keys, vote points and access to a vote shop.
Build competitions are part of the Survival offering, alongside the network's regular voting and progression activities.
Discord is the main community contact point. In-game social tools include shared claims, island teams, player warps, market staff permissions, plot visits and Creative plot trust. Player warps can be categorized, rated, password-protected and restricted by player.
Hacks, x-ray, injection scripts, unfair utility mods and code-altering automation are forbidden. Optimization, cosmetic and visual schematic tools are allowed within the stated limits. Spam, advertising, harassment, privacy violations, exploit abuse, lag machines, staff impersonation and roleplay are also prohibited. Griefing and stealing are banned on or around claims, islands and Creative plots.
BudgieNet has an official store with paid perks and convenience items. Daily voting supplies keys and vote points, and the vote shop offers additional rewards. Extra homes can come through ranks, crates, store perks or voting depending on the tier.

History of BudgieNet
BudgieNet was already operating by September 17, 2019. A BedWars map created for BowWhalley, named as the owner of BudgieNet Survival, connects the network's early history to a Survival-focused project with community-built content.
By March 2020, BudgieNet was established as a multi-mode network offering Survival, Skyblock, SkyGrid and Creative. Survival already combined McMMO, boss fights, custom ranks, player markets and land protection, while Skyblock emphasized challenges, public islands and boss loot.
The network later expanded its practical mode structure with separate Budgie and Canary Survival endpoints, alongside Vanilla, Creative, Skyblock and SkyGrid. Its Survival systems grew beyond basic claims and ranks to include rank-linked homes, player warps, market plots, vote rewards and a Prestige path reached through the God-rank dungeon.
BudgieNet now presents a connected Java network where each mode has its own reason to exist. Survival is the broadest progression experience, Skyblock is built around island growth and challenge completion, and SkyGrid turns resource hunting into a risky movement puzzle. Creative adds protected plots and building tools, while Vanilla remains available through the hub.
