EnglishAbout PurpleSMP
PurpleSMP keeps survival close to ordinary Minecraft while adding mcMMO skills, land claims, personal vaults, resource worlds, and player-run progression. PvP is off by default, so players can focus on building and exploration before choosing when to enable combat.
What Makes It Different
PurpleSMP makes PvP a player-controlled risk instead of a constant background threat. Players can leave combat disabled while building and gathering, then turn it on for voluntary fights or visit the PvP arena without moving to a separate competitive network.
mcMMO is a Minecraft server skill system that grants experience for activities such as mining, chopping trees, fishing, and fighting.
mcMMO skills, rankings, skill commands, and recurring experience bonuses are a central progression layer.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
PurpleSMP preserves ordinary Minecraft survival progression while adding plugins and convenience systems such as claims, vaults, and warps.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Players are encouraged to protect homes, builds, farms, and storage through land claims.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server centers on a shared multiplayer survival world with community building, exploration, farms, storage, and player interaction.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Gathering, crafting, building, exploration, equipment improvement, and survival progression form the main experience.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Players can enable or disable combat individually, and the server also provides a dedicated PvP arena.
The main experience is a mostly vanilla survival world with mcMMO skills, land claims, personal vaults, homes, warps, resource worlds, and player interaction. Resource worlds provide a separate place to gather materials and are advertised as resetting every three days, reducing the need to travel long distances from established builds.
Progress comes from ordinary Minecraft survival alongside mcMMO skill levels, jobs, playtime or prestige ranks, better equipment, claims, homes, and personal storage. Daily double-mcMMO-XP periods give regular players a recurring reason to return and level their skills.
mcMMO is the main gameplay extension, with skills and commands such as swords, mining, leaderboards, and skill rankings. Other additions include custom enchants, personal vaults, land claims, GSit actions, slime-chunk tools, homes, warps, and proximity voice chat. Voice chat requires the appropriate client-side mod.
PurpleSMP uses a shared survival world for building, exploration, farms, storage, and community projects. Separate resource worlds reset regularly so players can gather materials without exhausting or heavily disturbing the main building areas.
PvP is disabled by default and can be enabled or disabled by individual players. The server also advertises a dedicated PvP arena, allowing combat-focused play without making every survival encounter hostile.
Recent server features include jobs, chest shops, player warps, and player-to-player trading. The official store also sells optional crates, keys, Gems, supporter perks, and temporary boosts. Store items behave like ordinary in-game items and can be earned through gameplay or lost through death, PvP, raids, griefing, dropping, or trading.
A daily double-mcMMO-XP period is advertised from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Eastern Time. The server also connects store rewards and community activity with events and occasional giveaways.
PurpleSMP is aimed at a small, relaxed survival community rather than a large minigame network. Discord is the main place for announcements, support, community contact, and server assistance.
PvP starts disabled and can be changed with the in-game toggle commands. Players are encouraged to protect builds with land claims, and the server provides an in-game `/rules` command. Anti-cheat monitoring and staff support are also advertised through Discord.
The official store sells optional in-game items, crates, keys, Gems, supporter perks, boosters, and convenience benefits. Store materials describe the purchases as obtainable through gameplay, while also warning that some items are temporary and that purchased items remain vulnerable to normal server risks.
A PvP toggle lets players change whether they participate in player-versus-player combat within a shared survival world.
PvP begins disabled, and each player can enable or disable combat, allowing peaceful building before voluntary fights.
Separate resource worlds periodically refresh their terrain, giving players new areas to gather materials without replacing established main-world builds.
PurpleSMP provides separate resource worlds advertised to reset every three days, letting players gather materials away from established builds.
Personal vaults provide private storage for retaining items between activities, runs, or visits to the server.
PurpleSMP includes personal vaults alongside normal chests, adding private item storage to its survival toolkit.
A dedicated bounded area intended for organized or voluntary player-versus-player combat.
A dedicated PvP arena gives combat-focused players a separate place to fight while the wider survival world remains optional.
Skill leaderboards rank players by measured progression or achievement in server skills and provide visible competitive goals.
mcMMO skill rankings and leaderboards let PurpleSMP players compare advancement in skills such as mining and swords.
Custom enchants add server-specific equipment enhancements that change how players prepare for survival, combat or progression.
Custom enchants supplement ordinary Minecraft equipment as one of PurpleSMP's added systems while the server remains mostly vanilla.
Player Warps let players create publicly accessible destinations for shops, bases, services, or community locations across the server world.
PurpleSMP lists player warps as a community travel convenience alongside homes and other server utility systems.
Scheduled periods temporarily award twice the normal mcMMO experience, accelerating skill progression for participating players.
PurpleSMP advertises a daily double-mcMMO-XP period from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
Homes let players save personal locations and return to established bases or useful places more conveniently.
Players can use homes as part of PurpleSMP's travel conveniences, alongside player warps and ordinary exploration.
Player trading lets participants exchange resources, crafted goods, or equipment directly or through an organized economy.
Player-to-player trading is advertised alongside chest shops, adding direct item exchange to PurpleSMP's survival economy.
