About MATIX
Last updated
MATIX, long known as Playmatix Network, puts almost all its work into Advance, its main survival world. You build inside a protected region, earn a salary, and keep your savings in a bank that pays interest by the hour. Purple balloons drift over the map in clear weather carrying supply crates, and a well-aimed arrow brings one down full of food, gear and rare loot.
Weekends bring events in the evening, from a role-based murder mystery to escaping Granny. OneBlock runs alongside Advance. The community speaks Russian and plays on Java Edition, and Simple Voice Chat lets you talk, play radio and burn songs onto music discs.
What Makes It Different
Advance mixes survival with a real banking system: savings accounts with PINs, hourly interest on deposits and a top-depositors board.
A OneBlock mode runs next to Advance with its own weekend giveaways.
Salaries, a full bank with interest and a player currency exchange.
Advance, the main mode, is a survival world with regions, salaries and events.
On Advance you build in your own region, earn matixes, the server money, and join weekend events. Bow-shot supply balloons and a player rating for /tpa are part of a plan to make PvP a choice, not a surprise.
Matixes come from salaries, voting for the server and events. The bank has a main account, up to 10 savings accounts and deposits that grow while you play, and players can swap matixes for sapphires with each other.
Advance runs weekend events at 19:00, such as Mysterious Murder, Granny and a three-phase battle royale. Halloween 2026 brought a pumpkin you grow through seven stages and a boss event.
Using extra accounts for an advantage, abusing bugs and selling items for real money are all banned, and bug abuse can mean a full reset or a permanent ban. You may not build or claim within 50 blocks of someone else's region.
Free to play. You can shop in game with /buy, and a MATIX+ subscription unlocks higher bank levels and interest that keeps growing when you are not playing.
Your build sits in a protected region, and land outside regions was cleared when Advance moved to 26.2.
Each daily vote for the server pays 5 matixes, which you collect on Advance.
Backpacks sell for 1,000 matixes at the vendor warp on Advance, giving you extra space on trips.
Seasonal cases at /warp case hold cosmetics and furniture, like the Halloween 2026 case.
Purple balloons carry supply crates over Advance in clear weather, and you shoot one with a bow to drop its loot.
Weekend evenings on Advance bring games like Mysterious Murder, Granny and a three-phase battle royale.
The Advance bank has a main account, up to 10 named savings accounts with PINs and deposits that earn interest each hour you play.
Simple Voice Chat works on every mode, with radio, group music and discs you can record your own songs onto.
Best Time to Play
MATIX is busiest around 17:00 UTC and quietest around 01:00 UTC, based on recent player activity.

History of MATIX
The team behind MATIX opened its first server, RichWorld, in July 2014, and the Playmatix idea took shape in 2016. The server opened and closed several times after that. In summer 2019 the Classic server moved to version 1.14.3 and to new hardware in Poland.
In spring 2026 Playmatix Network became simply MATIX, and a new Anarchy opened on 5 May 2026 as an open-beta zero season.
After a database fault on 1 September 2026, the team chose to put almost all its work into Advance and move BedWars and TNTRun there as events. That autumn brought the bank, version 26.3 and a Halloween boss event.
