About BlockRealms
BlockRealms is a two-realm network built around very different kinds of survival. OneBlockSMP starts you on a single floating block that changes through phases and biomes as your island grows. BlockSMP is more dangerous, with player shops, open-world risk and a bounty currency tied to kills.
Both realms support Java and Bedrock players together. Custom gear, cosmetics, free ranks and Gems give the network more depth than plain vanilla survival, while regular updates keep adding new ways to grind, trade and compete.
What Makes It Different
BlockRealms puts two very different survival loops behind one shared network. OneBlock is about turning one changing block into a large island, while BlockSMP makes player kills part of the economy through Bits that cannot be mined or bought.
OneBlock is a Minecraft mode built around repeatedly mining one regenerating block to gather resources and advance through phases.
OneBlockSMP is the network's central island progression realm.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
BlockSMP is explicitly presented as a shop-survival SMP, and OneBlockSMP is also part of the network.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Player shops, /shop, sell-price mastery, Gems and Bits are major progression systems.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Both advertised realms use survival progression, resource gathering and player economies.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
BlockSMP centers combat around Bits, and the Resource World has enabled PvP.
Choose OneBlockSMP for island building, phase progression and long resource grinds. Choose BlockSMP for a shop-survival game where you sell materials, buy gear and compete with other players for wealth. Java and Bedrock players share the same worlds.
OneBlock advances through changing phases and biomes as the central block is mined. Island expansion, custom gear, ranks and Gems give you several goals beyond simply reaching the next phase. Resource Mastery adds permanent sell-price boosts for rotating featured resources, with bonuses reaching up to 3x.
Custom gear has special abilities and custom skins instead of behaving like ordinary vanilla equipment. OneBlock also includes cosmetics such as trails, hats, pets and effects. Resource World envoys, roaming bosses, collectors and chest-lock commands add further server-specific systems.
OneBlockSMP is centered on a floating island that grows outward from a single regenerating block. Its Resource World resets every 24 hours, creating fresh terrain and resource competition. Envoy towers and public or secret bosses add reasons to leave the island and take risks.
BlockSMP is the high-risk realm. Killing players earns Bits, making wealthy players attractive targets and turning fights into part of the progression system. PvP is also enabled in the daily Resource World, where players can lose whatever they carry. OneBlock islands have stronger protection through anti-grief rules.
BlockSMP uses player shops and /shop to turn mined loot into money. Bits are separate from Gems and exist only on BlockSMP; they come from defeating players rather than mining or purchasing them. On OneBlock, weekly featured resources and Resource Mastery can raise sell prices, while the Forecast helps players prepare for the next rotation.
Staff-run admin-abuse events let the team temporarily break normal rules for chaotic live activities. The Resource World also creates recurring action through envoy drops and public or secret bosses. Weekly updates are a regular part of the network's development style.
Discord is the main place for giveaways, updates, patch notes, support tickets, player reports and ban appeals. Island teams can coordinate privately, while staff handle moderation and support through tickets.
Global rules prohibit hacked clients, unfair mods, X-Ray, radar tools, exploits, duping and harmful server abuse. OneBlock forbids griefing and insiding, while AFK mining is allowed there under the macro rules. BlockSMP allows griefing, insiding and scamming, but AFK mining remains banned and unintended exploits are still punishable.
The server sells ranks, Gems, cosmetics, kits and other store items through its Tebex shop. Ranks and Gems can also be earned through play, and voting provides free Gems, crate keys and other rewards. Purchases are optional, with the network presenting ranks as non-pay-to-win.

History of BlockRealms
BlockRealms was already operating as a Minecraft server by 2012. Its early-2010s lineup included Hunger Games, Parkour, PvP, Survival and Factions, with public events and open joining promoted around the blockrealms.net address.
By December 2025, BlockRealms was operating as a cross-platform network using fun.blockrealms.net for Java connections and play.blockrealms.net for Bedrock connections. OneBlock and survival-focused modes were part of its documented lineup during this period.
On May 30, 2026, BlockRealms entered a clearly defined two-realm phase. OneBlockSMP was live, while BlockSMP was introduced as a planned shop-survival realm built around player trading and a kill-based currency called Bits.
OneBlockSMP then received a major economy update on June 7, 2026. The rebuilt /shop added visible sell prices, while Resource Mastery let players permanently improve sell prices for rotating featured resources. The Forecast command revealed two upcoming resources, and backpack withdrawals added more control over stored loot.
On June 12, 2026, the Resource World expanded the OneBlock experience beyond the island. It reset every 24 hours, added envoy drops and roaming bosses, and created a riskier place to mine rare resources with PvP enabled.
The same update added chest locking and trusted access for collectors, giving island teams better control over shared storage and automated resource systems. These tools fit alongside OneBlock's rules against griefing and insiding.
By August 2026, BlockRealms had grown into a network where OneBlockSMP handles island progression and resource grinding, while BlockSMP offers shop survival, player wealth and combat centered on Bits.
