EnglishAbout Playhouse SMP
Last updated
Playhouse SMP is a quiet place for adults to play vanilla survival together. The world runs on hard difficulty, and most of the fun is shared: communal farms, a spawn town, a shopping district and a Nether hub that everyone helps build.
The server plays in seasons, each with a new world, and between resets there are side worlds and events like Skyblock, Create and Cobblemon. You join by applying on Discord and chatting with a recruiter before you are whitelisted. Playhouse SMP is an adults-only community, so you must be 18 or older to play.
What Makes It Different
A group of friends from other servers built it in 2020 as a steady home, and it has now run seven seasons built around shared projects.
A whitelisted group of adults sharing one survival world each season.
Vanilla survival on hard difficulty is the main game.
Plain vanilla survival on hard difficulty, with a few custom items added in Season 7. Players team up on shared farms and big community builds.
Each season brings a brand new world. Season 5 used amplified terrain, and worlds from past seasons can be downloaded from the official site.
Between resets the server runs community events and side worlds, such as the Backwoods hardcore mode, escape mansion events and Skyblock, Create and Cobblemon worlds.
Players come from around the world, and most are between 25 and 50. Recruiters chat with every applicant before they join.
Free to play with no store. Players can support the server through Patreon.
