EnglishAbout Oddly Vanilla
Last updated
Oddly Vanilla keeps survival close to the game you know, with one twist: there is no money. Every deal is a trade. Set up a storefront in the spawn town with a Shopkeeper NPC, trade your spare loot for what you need, or build a public farm that the whole server can use.
Inside 3,000 blocks of spawn you are safe from PvP, though thieves are allowed, so lock up what matters. Past that border, and in the Nether, fights are fair game. The store sells only cosmetics and server-wide treats. The server runs on Java Edition in English.
A friendly community SMP with a shared spawn town.
A player-run barter economy with no money, only trades.
Mostly vanilla survival with a few helpers.
PvP is off within 3,000 blocks of spawn, including player towns, and on the End dragon's platform. It is on beyond that border and in the Nether.
There is no server money. Players barter item for item, often through Shopkeeper NPC shops in the spawn town.
No x-ray, modified clients, duping, glitching or nether roof. Optifine, Lunar, Badlion and shaders are fine. No NSFW builds, names or skins, and no hate speech or scamming.
The store sells name colors, hats, a sit command, pets and server-wide potion effects. It says it is not pay-to-win.
There is no money, so every deal is a straight trade of items between players.
Players set up storefronts in the spawn town with Shopkeeper NPCs for safe trades.
Player towns sit inside the PvP-free zone around spawn.
The store sells only cosmetics and server-wide treats, and says it is not pay-to-win.
You can get a single-color or gradient name, wear any item as a hat, or sit anywhere.
PvP opens past 3,000 blocks from spawn and in the Nether, while the area around spawn stays safe.
