EnglishAbout NightshadeSMP

NightshadeSMP is plain vanilla on purpose. There is no teleporting, so you travel on foot, by boat, on horseback or through your own Nether tunnels. Keep Inventory is off and difficulty is set to hard, so a creeper still matters.
There are no land claims and no locked chests. Trust holds it together: builds are left alone and every block change is logged. Java players apply for the whitelist first. NightshadeSMP is an adults-only community, so you must be 18 or older to play.
What Makes It Different
Seasons end only when the players say so: around eight months in, the community votes to reset or keep going.
No gameplay plugins, no teleports and no claims.
A small whitelisted community world shared by its players.
Pure vanilla survival on hard with Keep Inventory off.
Pure vanilla survival on Fabric, with only performance and quality-of-life mods. Client mods like Litematica, minimaps and shaders are fine.
The Overworld border is 100,000 blocks across, with Spawn Island as a shared area for shops. Build at least 400 blocks from neighbors unless they agree.
PvP happens only when both players agree, and it stops the moment someone says stop.
Staff run community events and build contests, and players can host their own minigames and projects.
The server stays small on purpose. Proximity voice chat lets you talk to whoever is nearby.
No griefing, even as a joke, and no stealing from unlabeled chests. Hacked clients, x-ray and freecam ore hunting are banned.
Donations are cosmetic only and give no gameplay advantage.
Ledger logs every block and chest change, and anyone can check a block's history.
A 3D BlueMap of the world is open on the website or with /map.
Worlds last eight to twelve months, the community votes on resets, and old worlds are shared for download.
You apply on the website before you can join, which keeps the community small.
Fights happen only when both players agree, and stop the moment either says stop.
Builds are not claimed or locked; the rules and a respect-first community protect them instead.
Donations give cosmetics only, so nobody can buy an edge.
There is no teleporting at all, so travel means walking, boats, horses or Nether tunnels.
Simple Voice Chat lets you talk to players near you in game.

History of NightshadeSMP
NightshadeSMP counts its worlds in seasons. Each one runs for most of a year, and around the eight month mark the community votes on whether to reset or keep building. When a world ends, it is shared as a download so nobody loses their builds for good.
Season 5 began with a fresh world on 2 May 2026. Players settled in on foot, as always, and after 30 May 2026 the Nether roof opened up as new building space. The 100,000 block world can still grow if a big update adds new terrain.
