GermanAbout MyFTB
MyFTB is a Java network built around modded Minecraft instead of one single game mode. Its launcher offers more than 20 packs, including tech, expert, skyblock, exploration, Pixelmon, classic FTB, and vanilla choices.
Each player gets a personal world, which gives builders much more control than a normal shared survival map. The main tradeoff is variety: every pack has its own mods, progression, reset rules, and learning curve.
What Makes It Different
The biggest difference is the personal-world setup. You get room to build without sharing one unprotected map with strangers. The second difference is choice: MyFTB supports many modpacks, from old-school FTB to current technical and skyblock packs.
Modded Minecraft servers use game mods to add or change mechanics, content, or progression beyond the unmodified game.
The network is primarily built around a large selection of modpacks.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Its main servers use survival-style progression across modded, Vanilla, Pixelmon, and skyblock experiences.
Choose a modpack through the MyFTB Launcher, then join its server from the lobby or the pack's listed address. The network covers very different styles, so an expert pack can feel completely different from Pixelmon, Vanilla, or SkyFactory.
Progression belongs to the selected modpack. Expert packs can demand long automation chains, while skyblock and adventure packs use their own goals. World inactivity matters: normal worlds can be removed after 30 days without being loaded, or 60 days for VIP players.
MyFTB provides its own launcher, lobby portals, pack-specific commands, chunkloader tools, world management features, and account verification for community services.
Every player receives a personal world. Some packs also include public areas and shared spawn spaces. VIP players may receive a second world, sometimes a special void world depending on the modpack.
Unagreed PvP and player traps are forbidden across the network. Griefing, stealing from worlds or inventories, exploiting bugs, and unfair client modifications are also prohibited. MyFTB is a poor fit for raiding or open-world PvP.
The community is organized around individual modpacks, with Discord text channels, voice chat, TeamSpeak, a forum, and ticket-based support. In-game chat is limited to German and English.
Use /accept to unlock the servers. Follow staff instructions, avoid griefing and exploits, keep client modifications fair, and do not use unagreed PvP or player traps. Items are not refunded after deaths, crashes, bugs, or other losses. Large entity farms, excessive hoppers, unsafe chunkloading, and other lag-heavy builds are restricted.
Playing is free. The shop offers optional kits, VIP status, and Premium servers. VIP perks include item protection on death, more homes, /back, possible access to a second world, longer world-retention time, and access to full servers. VIP can also be earned through 1,500 hours of play.

History of MyFTB
By December 4, 2016, MyFTB was already running a Vanilla 1 server and opened Vanilla 2 as a fresh parallel world. The new server reset money and McMMO progress so newcomers could start on equal terms.
The network later grew beyond its Vanilla branches into a broad modded-Minecraft lineup. Classic FTB packs, Direwolf20, Infinity, SkyFactory, Pixelmon, and other technical packs became part of the wider selection.
Personal worlds became a defining part of the network. Instead of placing every player in one exposed survival map, MyFTB gives players their own world for safer building and more control over large modded projects.
The lineup continued to span very different eras of Minecraft modding. Legacy options such as Direwolf20 1.7 sit alongside newer packs such as All The Mods 10, FTB Skies 2, Stoneblock 4, and modern Vanilla servers.
Recent development has included a public beta of the MyFTB Launcher v2, new pack openings such as All the Mons and Stoneblock 4, and regular updates for active packs. Older packs are also retired when their server run ends.
Today, MyFTB is a multi-pack Java network for players who want protected personal worlds, long technical progression, and the freedom to move between many different modded experiences.
