About Mvndicraft
Mvndicraft is a medieval survival server built around towns, nations and player-made history. Start with basic resources, choose a profession, earn Ducats and build a settlement based on a real medieval place.
Towns can join nations, form alliances and fight wars. Sieges use cannons, trebuchets, ballistas, ships and a custom combat system. The large Eurasia map, historical building rules and changing seasons make each region feel different.
What Makes It Different
Most Towny servers stop at claims and town menus. Mvndicraft turns them into a medieval political game, with historical settlements, nations, diplomacy and siege warfare.
Combat also feels very different from vanilla Minecraft. Stamina, armor weight, attack reach, weapon types and mounted attacks all matter.
Medieval servers place Minecraft play in a period-inspired world where castles, villages, farms, roads, and trade shape what players build and pursue.
The entire setting, equipment system, architecture and political structure use a medieval theme.
Roleplay is Minecraft gameplay where players act as characters in a shared fictional world and make choices from those characters’ perspectives.
Historical names, architecture, diplomacy and player-led nations encourage roleplay.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Towny is the foundation for towns, claims, nations and settlement management.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather resources, craft, build settlements and survive in the main world.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Custom player combat and organized wars are central parts of the experience.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is built around shared-world multiplayer and player-created settlements.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom weapons, armor, shields, tools, ammunition, ships and recipes materially change gameplay.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Towns expand through chunk claims with permissions and claim limits.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Ducats, town upkeep, nation costs and player shops support an active economy.
Begin by gathering materials, earning Ducats and learning the server's custom recipes. You can found a town with `/town new <name>` and expand it through chunk claims.
Towns can join nations, share diplomacy and prepare for war. Town names must match real medieval settlements, and builds should fit the 476–1550 setting and their local architectural style.
Players can choose two professions and complete both skill trees. Professions unlock recipes, materials, machines, weapons, armor, siege equipment and ship upgrades.
Combat experience comes from hostile mobs such as bandits, bears, boars, rats and wolves. Leveling grants attribute points for Vitality, Endurance, Strength and Dexterity. Players can later prestige to raise the level cap.
The server adds a resource pack, custom medieval weapons, armor, shields, firearms, ammunition and crafting recipes. Its combat system includes stamina, poise, attack reach, equipment weight and several damage types.
Players can build and operate vessels such as rowboats, fishing boats, cogs, galleys, dromons and drakkars. Siege equipment includes ballistas, cannons, trebuchets and Greek fire.
Custom mobs include bandits, bears, boars, wolves and rats. A global medieval soundtrack and seasonal effects add atmosphere to the world.
The main map represents Eurasia at approximately 1:200 scale and covers Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Towns are expected to match real medieval settlements and their regional architecture.
The setting spans roughly 476–1550 AD. Roads, rivers, coastlines and natural terrain matter because they shape travel, trade and warfare.
Mvndicraft uses custom combat instead of normal vanilla damage. Weapons have different ranges, attack modes, speeds, damage types and impact weights.
Stamina is used for attacks, blocking, sprinting and some movement. Armor changes health, poise, defense, movement speed and carrying weight. Mounted attacks include couched lance charges and horse trampling.
Nation wars use sieges. Attackers must capture the defending town's siege banner during scheduled battle sessions. Victorious attackers may occupy or plunder the town, while raids offer shorter land or naval fights for wagers.
The main currency is the Ducat. Players earn money through activities such as mining, farming, fishing, smelting and hunting.
Towns and nations need money for founding costs, claims and daily upkeep. Players can transfer Ducats with `/money pay`, and chest shops let them buy and sell items directly to one another.
Large sieges take place every two weeks, with two scheduled battle sessions on Saturday and Sunday at 18:30 UTC. Players fight for control of a town's siege banner.
Raids are shorter wager-based events. Land raids count player kills around a banner, while naval raids measure damage dealt to ships. Seasonal changes run throughout the world and affect weather, crops, animals and daylight.
The community is organized around towns, nations and player-led diplomacy. Nation leaders recruit residents, arrange alliances and prepare armies for war.
Discord is used for community coordination, support tickets and bug reports. Players can also form smaller parties for raids and cooperate through professions, trade and shared building projects.
Cheats, unfair mods, duplication, exploit abuse, alt accounts and AFK farming are prohibited. Towns may not use snake claims, siege outposts or claims designed only to block another settlement.
Builds must fit the medieval period and their regional style. Town spawns must remain reachable by siege weapons, and walls, moats, traps, tunnels and siege camps must follow the server's war-building limits.
Mvndicraft is free to join and is presented as non-pay-to-win. Patreon memberships are available to support development and server costs. No reliable evidence establishes gameplay advantages being sold for real money.

History of Mvndicraft
Mvndicraft was being developed publicly by December 2021 as a medieval geopolitical Minecraft project. Its early plans centered on an Earth-style map, historical roleplay, Towny settlements and custom medieval equipment.
During 2023, the project moved toward its first major public release. Early plans described a June launch with nations, custom weapons and armor, a historical map and a restricted vanilla-style ruleset.
The June 2023 release build ran on Minecraft 1.19.4. Its combat system already included a large weapon roster, many shield designs, multiple armor sets, custom models, improved terrain and a siege system with limited building during battles.
The project later entered another development cycle. In March 2025, the Italian Wars beta tested rebuilt infrastructure alongside ship combat, siege weapons, professions and an updated combat system.
The next major edition was announced for February 20, 2026. This version expanded the medieval setting with a 1:200 Eurasia map, custom boats, skill trees, professions, seasonal effects and a more detailed Towny and SiegeWar system.
Mvndicraft now presents a persistent medieval world for builders, merchants, roleplayers and PvP players. Its main identity comes from turning Minecraft settlements into political powers that must earn money, defend territory and survive organized warfare.
