About MoonVale
MoonVale is a long-term survival world built around keeping what you make. Worlds are not reset, so bases, shops, and community builds can remain part of the same shared map over time.
There is more to do than standard vanilla survival. Earn money through farming and other work, fish with CustomFishing, level skills, run player shops, and explore custom Nether biomes. Proximity voice chat, music discs, random drops, redeemable codes, and a PvP arena add social and competitive sides without turning the server into a minigame network.
What Makes It Different
MoonVale mixes a permanent shared world with a surprisingly deep set of side systems. Players can build a lasting home, then spend time fishing, leveling skills, trading, chatting nearby, or fighting in the arena.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The server emphasizes permanent builds and no world resets.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
MoonVale is structured as a shared multiplayer survival world.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the server's central gameplay mode.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Players earn money and trade through player shops.
Survival is the main activity, but the server adds several reasons to keep playing after the first gear rush. Farming and other work feed the economy, CustomFishing adds a separate gathering activity, and player shops support trading between players.
Exploration also matters. Custom Nether biomes give the Nether a different look and purpose, while random drops and redeemable codes create occasional bonus rewards.
Skill progression rewards regular play by letting players improve through their normal activities. Ranks and cosmetics can also be earned through play, with online time and continued activity serving as part of the progression path.
Season II gives players a longer-term target through exploration and Elytra progression rather than only chasing better tools and armor.
CustomFishing, custom Nether biomes, proximity voice chat, music discs, random drops, redeemable codes, and skill progression all extend the standard survival experience.
The world is intended to persist rather than being wiped on a regular reset cycle. Players can establish long-term builds, shops, and shared community locations. Custom Nether biomes add a distinct exploration layer beyond the normal world.
MoonVale has a dedicated PvP arena for players who want organized fights. The main server remains a survival world, so PvP is presented as one activity alongside building, trading, fishing, and exploration.
The economy is built around earning money from work such as farming and selling goods. Player shops let members turn gathered resources and crafted items into a small trading business.
Giveaways, random drops, and secret redeemable codes are part of MoonVale's reward activity. The server also uses seasonal progression, with Season II tied to exploration and Elytra goals.
Proximity voice chat makes nearby conversation part of everyday play. MoonVale is aimed at a friendly, relaxed community where players can build, trade, socialize, and spend time in the same persistent world.
Toxic behavior is not tolerated, and the server is presented as family-friendly. PvP is available through a dedicated arena, keeping combat as a distinct part of the survival experience.
Ranks, cosmetics, giveaways, random drops, and redeemable rewards can be earned through gameplay. The progression model is built around playing rather than requiring payment for advancement.

History of MoonVale
MoonVale was running by March 16, 2026, using moonvalesmp.xyz as its main public connection address and port 19013 for Bedrock access. Its early public presentation focused on survival, economy features, and crossplay.
By mid-2026, MoonVale had developed into a Vanilla+ survival server rather than a bare-bones SMP. Permanent builds, proximity voice chat, player shops, custom Nether biomes, and extra reward systems became central parts of the experience.
The server entered a Season II phase during 2026. Its in-game message encouraged players to explore and work toward Elytra, giving the season a clear progression goal while keeping the wider world and its builds in place.
MoonVale now combines persistent survival with skills, CustomFishing, player trading, arena PvP, social voice chat, and play-earned ranks or cosmetics. It remains centered on one shared community world instead of a rotating collection of unrelated game modes.
