MCTerranova drops you into the year 1412. You join or found a city, help it level up through professions like forestry, mining, fishing and smithing, and build in a medieval style with timber frames, steep roofs and castle walls. Cities such as Porta Bellagio, Withmuria and Madinat Al Sahaar already stand on the live map.
Cities band together into nations with a capital, a leader and a council, then pick allies and enemies through diplomacy. The world is persistent with no short reset cycles. Terranova is a German server on Java Edition, with an optional modpack and a required resource pack for custom items, fish and furniture.
What Makes It Different
Professions belong to whole cities rather than single players, so a town decides together whether it fishes, farms, smiths or hunts monsters.

You settle in a city, buy or rent a plot from its broker and build. Your city works on one profession at a time, spending silver from its treasury to finish each stage.
Finishing profession stages earns your city level points, and higher city levels let it hold more land. A larger profession rework with starter quests is on the way.
One persistent medieval world with cities, smaller trade villages and castles that guard borders and trade routes. A browser map shows cities, regions and nation borders.
The money is silver, kept in each city's treasury and spent to push the city's professions forward.
Fair play applies to everyone: X-ray, freecam, bots and similar cheats are banned, and you should ask the team before using a mod you are unsure about.
Several cities join into a nation led by a capital, with its own leader and council.
A browser map shows every city, region and nation border, and the modpack adds an in-game minimap.
Each city has a mayor, deputy, council and silver treasury, and its land grows with its city level.
Nations set each other as allied, neutral or hostile, which shapes trade and future wars.
Custom furniture from the server pack helps you dress up medieval houses, taverns and castles.
