About LoveMC
LoveMC currently centers on Box SMP, giving its network a more focused survival mode than its broader network ambitions suggest. Survival, economy and PvP are all part of the server’s current mix, making it a better fit for players who want progression and competition alongside ordinary Minecraft building and gathering.
What Makes It Different
LoveMC is unusual mainly because its current Box SMP identity grew out of an EarthMC server rather than launching as a single-purpose box network. The rebrand was intended to make room for several modes, so the server combines a current Box SMP focus with an earlier Earth-themed lineage.
The current gameplay is repeatedly described as a Box SMP with progression in a constrained box-style setting.
Box SMP is the server’s directly advertised current mode, with shared survival progression and player development.
The profile identifies survival gameplay involving ordinary Minecraft gathering, building, and progression.
The current lead mode is Box SMP. Expect survival gameplay built around a constrained box-style setting, with economy and PvP adding progression and competitive pressure around the main world.
Progression is tied to developing within the Box SMP environment and using the server economy to turn gathered resources into further advancement. PvP gives that progression a competitive edge instead of leaving the server as a purely cooperative survival world.
PvP is part of LoveMC’s broader gameplay mix, but it does not appear to define the entire network. Combat is best understood as a supporting layer around the Box SMP and economy experience.
Economy is one of LoveMC’s named gameplay themes alongside Survival, SMP, Box and PvP. Players should expect resource value and currency-based advancement to matter as they build up their position on the server.
LoveMC is built as a public network rather than a small private SMP, with a Discord community alongside the Minecraft server. Its current direction suits players who enjoy joining a larger shared environment and watching a network expand beyond its original mode.
LoveMC has a separate web store for server purchases at shop.lovemc.net.
History of LoveMC
In March 2025, the server was being prepared as a new EarthMC SMP with custom builds and configurations. That version was intended to give players a community-driven Earth setting rather than simply reproduce the larger EarthMC network.
By July 2025, the server had been rebranded from EarthMC to LoveMC. The change was meant to move beyond a single Earth-focused mode and make room for a wider network, including SMP-style gameplay. LoveMC’s current public identity is centered on Box SMP, while the earlier EarthMC name remains part of its history.
