About Blocaria
Blocaria is a Boxed survival server built around a simple idea: start with almost nothing, then make your personal world bigger. You gather resources, complete missions, improve your box, and unlock more ways to play.
The server mixes farming, exploration, building, jobs, pets, custom items, and team play. It feels more guided than normal survival because every upgrade gives you a clear next goal.
What Makes It Different
Blocaria turns survival into a growing personal world. Instead of searching for a permanent base in a huge map, you improve one box until it becomes a complete island adventure.
Boxed is a Minecraft progression mode that confines players to a small enclosed space and makes expanding that space the main route to advancement.
The Boxed format is the server's defining gameplay structure and is not represented in the existing category set.
Quests are tracked Minecraft objectives that direct players to complete specific tasks or a connected sequence of tasks.
Missions and quests expand the box and guide the player's progression.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom animals, fish, legendary items, geodes, tools, and repair powders are central to the experience.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather, build, farm, explore, and progress through a survival-based world.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Coins, box banking, shops, jobs, rankings, and seasonal currencies shape progression.
Start inside a small box and gather the resources available there. Complete missions to expand your space and unlock new activities. Use farming, mining, fishing, hunting, woodcutting, and exploration to keep progressing. Teams can share a box and work toward the same upgrades.
Missions open new parts of the Boxed experience. Jobs reward normal Minecraft actions with progress toward box value and rankings. Character levels use valuable resources such as ores, custom fish, and items from custom animals. Box upgrades can increase team size, storage, ore-generator output, hopper capacity, and crop growth.
Blocaria uses a custom resource pack and adds custom animals, pets, fish, legendary items, geodes, rarity tools, evolving tools, and a dedicated forge. Geodes can provide powders used to repair special equipment.
Each box sits on a private island surrounded by ocean. The documented island size is 400 by 400 blocks. A public spawn contains shops and NPCs. A separate Nether area becomes available after completing the final mission in the easy mission group.
Coins are used for box upgrades and box banking. Public spawn NPCs provide shops and other services. Seasonal activities have also used gold as an event currency, including races, treasure hunts, and black-market purchases.
Regular events are part of the server's design. Past seasonal content has included a pirate boss, timed ring races, underwater treasure hunting, buried treasure searches, daily quests, a black market, and community-wide reward milestones.
Players can build teams around a shared box and work together on upgrades and missions. Discord is used for community chat, help, and event participation. The server supports both French and English web communities.
A legitimate premium Minecraft account is required. Blocaria is Java-only and does not support Bedrock. Players should enable the server resource pack when joining.
Blocaria has an official store offering Gems and subscription-style perks. Listed perks include faster job experience, additional VoteParty rewards, no teleport cooldown, no XP loss on death, pet renaming, and access to convenience commands.
History of Blocaria
Blocaria dates to 2022. From the beginning, it focused on a Boxed survival format instead of a normal open-world SMP.
By 2024, Blocaria was a French Boxed server with a custom resource pack, cooperative play, new animals, exclusive items, jobs, quests, and a player economy.
The early Boxed design placed each player or team inside a small starting area. Missions expanded the available space and gradually opened new resources and activities. Each box occupied a private island surrounded by ocean, with a public spawn containing shops and useful NPCs.
Progression later became more detailed. Box upgrades could improve team size, storage, ore production, hopper limits, and crop growth. Jobs also began feeding into box value and ranking systems, giving farming, mining, fishing, hunting, woodcutting, and exploration a direct role in long-term progress.
Seasonal content expanded the world beyond the box. A summer update introduced a Palm Island with a pirate boss, races, diving, treasure hunts, a daily quest calendar, a black market, and community reward milestones.
In July 2025, Blocaria joined RIVRS' publishing and support portfolio for Minecraft projects. RIVRS supported the server's technical, design, gameplay, and economic development alongside its other French Minecraft experiences.
In 2026, Blocaria reopened after several months of work with a refreshed version of its Boxed mode. The current server remains a Java-focused survival network centered on expanding personal worlds, completing objectives, collecting custom content, and playing with a team.
