About PokéFind

PokéFind is a Pokémon adventure built inside Minecraft without requiring a client mod. Players catch Pokémon, train teams, explore towns, battle trainers, complete quests, and travel between custom regions.

What Makes It Different

PokéFind feels more like a Pokémon adventure game than a normal Minecraft server. You walk through a hand-built world, find Pokémon in different places, follow story quests, and grow a team while still using Minecraft movement and building.

PokéFind Gameplay

Pokémon World focuses on exploration and collection. Wild Pokémon appear around towns, routes, water, grass, and special areas. Players catch them with Poké Balls, manage them through Pokémon menus, heal them at Pokémon Centers, trade with other players, and use commands such as /quests, /pokedex, /travel, /warp, and /whereami.

A 2017 gaming feature introduced PokéFind as a no-mod Pokémon server and explained its regions, trainer levels, gyms, catching, battles, and early progression.

History of PokéFind

PokéFind launched in February 2017 with a distinctive goal: bring Pokémon into ordinary Minecraft without requiring players to install a mod. From the beginning, its identity centered on making Pokémon gameplay part of a shared server network rather than a separate client-side experience.

Its first major setting was Pokémon World, a custom map built around exploration and progression. Players could catch Pokémon, visit towns, use PokéStops, battle trainers, and advance through trainer levels. Early coverage also described regions, gyms, trading, and PokéMarts, establishing the server’s initial blend of Pokémon systems and Minecraft multiplayer.

As PokéFind developed, its identity expanded beyond a single world. The network grew to include Pokémon Survival, Pokémon World, Pokémon Skyblock, and PokéWars. These modes carried the Pokémon theme into different Minecraft formats, giving the server more than one way to play while retaining its original focus.

The server also developed a recurring events cycle. Anniversary Pokémon, seasonal content, giveaways, festivals, and Pokémon swarms introduced limited or changing activities. PokéWars received its own limited-time content, adding temporary competitive experiences alongside the network’s longer-running modes.

In September 2022, the official PokéFind Wiki opened publicly. It later expanded through 2023, 2024, and 2025 with guides covering quests, trainers, breeding, anniversaries, and Survival. This created a growing reference point for the server’s systems and the different ways its worlds could be played.

PokéFind now operates across both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition through the same network. Its current identity combines the original no-mod Pokémon concept with several Minecraft game modes, rotating events, and a larger body of player guidance. What began as Pokémon World has become a cross-edition network built around Pokémon progression, exploration, competition, and seasonal activity.
