About LoungeSMP
LoungeSMP is a semi-vanilla survival SMP where Java and Bedrock players share a long-term world. The server keeps normal Minecraft survival at the center, then adds claims, jobs, shops, warps, and community events around it.
You can build a base, join a town, earn money through jobs, run a player shop, explore expanding borders, or simply play survival while chatting with other players. Keep Inventory and PvP off by default make the server much less punishing than an anarchy or combat-focused SMP.
What Makes It Different
LoungeSMP keeps the familiar survival feel but gives players a real place to settle. Protected land, a player-run market, jobs, and a world that does not reset all push players toward building something lasting.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
Jobs provide a dedicated way to earn money and progress.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The world is intended to continue without resets.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server is semi-vanilla and keeps normal Minecraft survival at its core.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a long-term survival server.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Community survival and player interaction are central to the experience.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, player shops, server-shop tools, and trading form a major progression path.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claiming and managing protected land is a core survival feature.
The main game is normal survival with multiplayer tools layered on top. Claims protect bases, farms, pets, and shops, while player warps make it easier to visit towns and markets. Keep Inventory reduces the cost of mistakes, so the server suits long building sessions as well as casual play.
Progression has several paths instead of one required grind. Jobs offer up to 600 levels, while claim blocks, homes, shops, warps, and larger builds give players longer-term goals. Optional supporter ranks add more space and convenience without replacing the normal survival path.
The server stays close to vanilla and does not require forced mods or resource packs. Its extra content includes custom-made minigames, claim settings, rank-based utility features, player warps, and optional proximity voice chat.
The world is persistent and does not reset. It contains player towns, roads, farms, shopping areas, landmarks, and hidden builds that have accumulated over time. The Overworld and Nether borders have been expanded to make room for new settlements.
PvP is off by default and can be toggled when players want to fight. The server is not built around constant combat, raiding, or open-world ambushes. Protected claims and anti-grief rules keep ordinary bases safer, though players who want a combat-heavy server will find the pace restrained.
Players earn money through jobs and spend it in the server economy. Player chest shops support direct trading, while server-shop tools help with common buying and selling. Scamming, real-money trading between players, abusive alt farming, and economy exploits are forbidden.
Regular events include custom minigames such as Spleef, Parkour, and One in the Chamber. Build competitions and other community activities add short-term goals without replacing the main survival world.
LoungeSMP is designed for players who want an active but comfortable social server. Discord provides announcements and support, while optional proximity voice chat and in-game calls make towns, events, and group projects more social. New players can join alone and still find community spaces to visit.
Cheats, x-ray, hacked clients, seed cracking, chunk downloading, duping, exploit abuse, chunk loaders, lag machines, griefing, theft, claim blocking, scams, harassment, hate speech, targeting, and advertising other servers are prohibited. Some swearing is allowed, but chat and usernames must remain PG-13. Claims must be used fairly and should not trap or block other players.
Support is offered through Member, Elite, and Supreme ranks, cosmetics, wearable items, tags, balloons, and keyall crate bundles. Ranks can add claim blocks, homes, player warps, shop slots, claim flight, claim settings, and convenience commands. Purchases are optional.

History of LoungeSMP
LoungeSMP began as a small, community-first survival project in late 2025. Its Discord community was created on December 10, 2025, around the same period that the server started building its long-term social survival focus.
By January 2026, LoungeSMP was running as a Java-and-Bedrock survival server rather than a large minigame network. The early format centered on semi-vanilla gameplay, a persistent world, protected land, optional PvP, and a friendly community atmosphere.
During spring 2026, the server developed a stronger player economy. Jobs, player shops, warps, towns, roads, and shared building areas gave players reasons to work together instead of treating the world as a collection of isolated bases.
By June 2026, LoungeSMP had become known for its relaxed survival pace and builder-friendly rules. New players could still find land, while established players had shopping districts, farms, towns, and larger projects to maintain.
During summer 2026, the server added a dedicated website and player wiki covering joining, rules, claims, commands, economy systems, ranks, and beginner help. This made the first few hours easier for players arriving from either edition.
On August 29, 2026, the Overworld and Nether borders were expanded. The change opened more room for new bases and towns while keeping the existing world and its builds intact.
LoungeSMP now offers persistent semi-vanilla survival with Java and Bedrock support, land protection, a player-driven economy, jobs, shops, regular minigame events, optional voice chat, and a community built around long-term projects rather than seasonal resets.
