About Lava
Lava is a long-running survival server where players choose their own goals instead of following a fixed story or seasonal reset. Build a permanent base, explore the world, play alone or with others, protect your land with regions, and use the player marketplace to trade resources. PvP exists, but it is opt-in rather than a constant threat.
What Makes It Different
Lava combines a permanent survival world with no real-money shop and consent-based PvP. That makes it a calmer alternative to servers built around wipes, paid advantages, or unrestricted player combat, while still leaving room for trading and voluntary fights.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
The server describes itself as primarily PvE, with hostile mobs and environmental survival as the normal pressure.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
Lava explicitly has no world wipes or seasons and preserves player construction through world-generation changes.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
Lava retains ordinary survival progression while adding regions, teleportation, shops, marketplaces, and other server-side changes.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the server’s central mode, covering resource gathering, crafting, building, farming, exploration, and hostile-mob combat.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Protected regions are a central system for securing player buildings, bases, and property.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Diamonds function as currency for purchases, player payments, and marketplace activity.
The server keeps the familiar survival loop of gathering resources, crafting, building, exploring, farming, and handling hostile mobs, then adds regions, teleportation, a spawn shop, and a player marketplace. There is no required storyline or objective, so players can focus on large builds, technical projects, exploration, social play, or private progression.
Progress is self-directed and designed to continue over the long term. Lava has no world wipes or seasons, and player builds remain in place across version changes. New world generation can be regenerated around protected areas so newer biomes and structures can be added without removing established construction.
Lava is not vanilla Minecraft. Its server-side additions include protected regions, teleport commands, a spawn shop, player marketplace tools, and custom balance changes intended to support a long-lived world and stable multiplayer play. Client-side mods are not required for connection.
The server provides the Overworld, Nether, and End. The Overworld is 60,000 by 90,000 blocks, the Nether is 30,000 by 30,000, and the End is unlimited. Random teleportation is available within a defined area rather than across the entire world.
Lava is primarily a PvE survival server. PvP is disabled by default and only works when both players have enabled their PvP mode. Once enabled, a player can be attacked by other opted-in players without a separate warning, including while AFK.
Diamonds serve as the server’s currency. Players can exchange diamonds at the spawn shop, buy selected building materials and enchanted books, transfer money to other players, and trade items through the marketplace. Player marketplace sales charge a 15% commission, while direct transfers carry a 10% fee.
Lava is a Russian-language server with Russian required in global chat and Discord. Its rules emphasize respectful communication, consent around other players’ builds and possessions, and a calm shared world. The server is operated without a conventional moderator, builder, or helper team.
Players may not grief, troll, use cheats or prohibited automation, impersonate others, exploit multiple accounts for an advantage, or trade items and accounts for real money. Regions are intended to protect actual player construction rather than claim untouched resources or scenery. PvP requires mutual opt-in, and players should keep new construction at least 256 blocks from visible neighboring builds unless they have permission to build closer.
Lava has no donations, paid ranks, paid items, or other real-money purchases. The server is intended to remain free to play and does not depend on donations, advertising, or the sale of paid services.
A combat rule where both players must enable PvP before they can damage one another.
PvP is off by default on Lava, and player damage works only after both fighters enable their PvP modes.
A resource currency uses a familiar Minecraft material as the primary medium for player purchases, trade, and wealth accumulation.
Lava uses diamonds for spawn-shop purchases, marketplace activity, and player transfers instead of a separate currency.
World-generation updates add newer terrain or structures around protected builds while preserving established player construction.
Lava can regenerate newer biomes and structures around protected regions without removing established construction.
A central server-operated shop where players spend in-game currency on a curated selection of items or materials.
Lava’s spawn shop sells selected building materials and enchanted books for diamonds.
A player-to-player payment function that lets users send in-game currency directly to other players.
Players can transfer diamond currency to one another, with Lava applying a 10% transfer fee.
Random teleportation moves players to a randomly selected location, helping them reach unexplored areas without choosing exact coordinates.
Lava offers random teleportation inside a defined area rather than across the entire world.
A build distance rule requires players to keep space from existing constructions unless nearby development has been approved by their owners.
Lava’s rules set a 256-block separation from visible neighboring builds unless the nearby owner gives permission.
