DutchAbout InfectedMC
InfectedMC is a Dutch survival and Kingdom-roleplay server where player interaction is shaped by defined territories and PvP rules. Fights are unrestricted in designated PvP zones, while wilderness and kingdom areas impose roleplay and chase limits, giving the server a structured mix of social roleplay and controlled conflict.
What Makes It Different
InfectedMC gives its Kingdom roleplay a particularly detailed PvP framework. Combat can move from a PvP zone into the wilderness or a kingdom only under active-chase rules, while border hopping, combat logging, and restarting a fight without a new roleplay reason are prohibited.
Roleplay is Minecraft gameplay where players act as characters in a shared fictional world and make choices from those characters’ perspectives.
Kingdom roleplay is explicitly identified as the server's central experience, shaping player interaction, territory, and conflict.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
PvP zones, combat chases, attack rules, and restrictions on combat behavior are central to the server's ruleset.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is explicitly presented as a survival server alongside its Kingdom roleplay and structured PvP systems.
Kingdom roleplay is the server's central experience, combined with survival gameplay, player interaction, and PvP. Players operate within a world divided into kingdom territories, wilderness, and designated PvP zones, with roleplay rules shaping when conflict can begin and where it can continue.
Kingdom roleplay is the defining custom layer, with separate rules for kingdom territory, wilderness, PvP zones, attacking parties, defending parties, combat, and active chases.
The rules distinguish between designated PvP zones, wilderness, and Kingdom territory. Kingdom areas are treated as protected roleplay spaces rather than unrestricted combat zones, while named locations such as Centria and Vulkaaneiland serve as places where open PvP is allowed.
Centria, Vulkaaneiland, and Paddenstoeleiland are identified as PvP areas where players may attack without a separate roleplay reason. The wilderness is not free-PvP, and kingdom territory cannot simply be entered or attacked at will. A fight may continue across a boundary only while an active combat chase is still underway, and a fully ended fight requires a new valid roleplay reason outside a PvP zone. Combat logging, border hopping, and entering a safezone during active combat are prohibited.
InfectedMC is a Dutch-language community built around shared survival, Kingdom roleplay, and fair player conflict. Its identity continues the former OldMC community under a new name.
Players agree to the server rules by joining. Violations can lead to warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans. The rules define where unrestricted PvP is allowed, how combat and chases work across boundaries, what counts as an attack or defense, and why combat logging and rule manipulation are not permitted.
Players can vote for the server and receive in-game rewards. No further store or paid-rank details are confirmed here.
Rules governing when an ongoing player fight may continue as a pursuit across territory or zone boundaries.
A fight may cross from a PvP zone into wilderness or Kingdom territory only during an active chase; ended fights need a new roleplay reason.
Designated PvP zones concentrate unrestricted or specially governed player combat into marked areas of a larger world.
Centria, Vulkaaneiland, and Paddenstoeleiland permit unrestricted attacks, while wilderness and Kingdom territory follow stricter roleplay and chase rules.
A combat system requiring an in-world roleplay justification before players can initiate attacks outside designated PvP areas.
Attacks in wilderness or Kingdom territory require a valid roleplay reason unless an already active chase is continuing across the boundary.
Territorial areas associated with kingdoms that organize shared-world communities, roleplay interactions, and boundaries between different spaces.
The world distinguishes Kingdom territory from wilderness and PvP zones, treating Kingdom areas as protected roleplay spaces rather than unrestricted combat areas.
Rules that restrict disconnecting or abandoning combat to prevent players from escaping an active fight unfairly.
The rules explicitly prohibit combat logging during active fights as part of the server's fair-PvP framework.
Rules preventing players from exploiting boundaries between differently regulated areas to evade or manipulate combat.
Border hopping is prohibited, so players cannot manipulate transitions between PvP zones, wilderness, and Kingdom territory during conflict.
