About GURU MC
GURU MC gives Java and Bedrock players a shared, straightforward Survival SMP built around building, exploration and self-directed play. The server keeps a vanilla-oriented identity while adding land claims, PvP and a public leaderboard system that tracks activity such as mob kills, deaths, playtime, voting and player kills. It is a small community server rather than a large minigame network.
What Makes It Different
GURU MC pairs a simple vanilla-style survival world with a visible competitive layer. Its public leaderboards compare weapon usage, mob hunting, PvP kills, deaths, playtime and voting activity, while its seasonal structure has included a final-week Anarchy phase where claims and protection were removed and PvP, raiding and griefing were allowed.
The server emphasizes a straightforward, authentic vanilla-oriented survival experience without RPG, jobs, or economy progression systems.
Land claims are an advertised core system for protecting player bases and other survival builds during ordinary gameplay.
GURU MC is explicitly presented as a shared Survival SMP where players develop bases and projects alongside one another.
Open-ended survival is the server’s primary experience, centered on gathering resources, building bases, exploring, and improving equipment.
PvP is an advertised part of the Survival SMP and is reinforced by public tracking of player kills.
The main experience is open-ended Survival SMP play: gather resources, build, explore and develop a base alongside other players. Land claims are part of the advertised feature set, giving the normal survival world a protection system, while PvP remains part of the server's gameplay mix. Java and Bedrock players can join the same server.
Progression follows the familiar survival path of improving equipment, developing a base and taking on increasingly dangerous parts of the world rather than a documented RPG class or quest track. The public leaderboard adds longer-term goals through mob-kill totals, PvP kills, deaths, playtime, voting streaks and weapon statistics.
The clearest custom layer is the public leaderboard system. It exposes server statistics for weapon usage, monster kills, deaths, PvP kills, playtime and voting activity, giving a mostly vanilla survival world a persistent scoreboard-driven meta.
GURU MC is presented as an India-hosted survival world with a listed 40-player capacity, regular backups and a 24/7 uptime goal. Its announcements describe a seasonal structure, including a planned reset after an end-of-season Anarchy week. The current map age, seed and reset status are not part of the public server description.
PvP is an advertised part of the Survival SMP and has its own public PvP Warlords leaderboard. GURU MC has also used an end-of-season Anarchy phase in which claims and protection were disabled and PvP, raiding and griefing were allowed. That phase-specific rule set should not be assumed to describe ordinary season play.
The server has used a final-week Anarchy event at the end of a season. During that period, land claims and protection were disabled and PvP, raiding and griefing were permitted before a planned reset and new season.
GURU MC is aimed at a friendly, small-scale SMP community and provides an official Discord for questions, updates and player contact. Recent monitoring shows a persistent but modest population, making it better suited to players who prefer a quieter community than a crowded network hub.
Rules are phase-dependent. In the announced final-week Anarchy mode, there are no claims or protection and PvP, raiding and griefing are allowed. Players should check the current Discord guidance before assuming that those permissions apply during the ordinary Survival season.
GURU MC is advertised as free to play. The official site directs players to voting links as a way to support the server's visibility. No official shop or paid package catalog is provided in the current public server information.
GURU MC publishes leaderboards for weapon usage, monster kills, deaths, PvP kills, playtime, voting activity, and other player statistics.
During GURU MC’s final week, claims and protection are disabled while PvP, raiding, and griefing are permitted before the planned reset.
GURU MC uses a seasonal structure with a planned reset after the end-of-season phase, although the current map’s reset status is unspecified.
