About GrooveMc
GrooveMc is a Java Survival SMP built for players who want a protected place to settle in and keep progressing. Land claims, an economy, jobs, and mcMMO give the usual survival routine more structure.
Its standout systems are PyroFishing, PyroMining, and PyroFarming, which add extra goals to familiar activities. A battle pass with quests and challenges gives builders, grinders, and explorers another reward track to follow.
What Makes It Different
GrooveMc combines a no-grief, no-raid survival setting with extra progression for fishing, mining, and farming. The battle pass gives everyday survival work a second set of goals.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claim protection is a major part of the server's safe-building rules.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Its gameplay is centered on persistent multiplayer survival and community building.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a protected survival server.
Build in claimed areas, earn money through the server economy, take jobs, and use mcMMO skills to add depth to normal survival tasks. The server also supports PvE-focused play and roleplay-style community building.
Progress comes from the ranking system, jobs, mcMMO skills, and the battle pass. Rank advancement provides additional perks and rewards, while quests and challenges create shorter goals between larger builds.
PyroFishing, PyroMining, and PyroFarming add custom progression to three familiar Minecraft activities. These systems give fishing, mining, and farming goals beyond simply collecting resources.
The world is centered on protected survival building, exploration, and community projects. Land claims are an important part of settling safely and keeping builds secure.
The server is PvE-leaning rather than an open raiding server. Griefing and raiding are prohibited, and land claims protect player builds.
GrooveMc has a player-facing economy and jobs system. Jobs turn regular survival activities into a way to earn money and support longer-term progression.
The battle pass uses quests and challenges to provide recurring objectives and rewards. Named event schedules are not included.
GrooveMc is aimed at a fresh-start community with room for shared builds, roleplay, and cooperative survival projects.
Griefing and raiding are prohibited. Land claims provide protection for player builds, making the server a poor fit for players who want unrestricted base destruction.

History of GrooveMc
GrooveMc was already being promoted by July 18, 2025 as a 1.21.6 Survival SMP using the play.groovemc.fun address. Its early feature set focused on protected building, rank progression, PyroFishing, PyroMining, PyroFarming, and a battle pass with daily and weekly quests.
By June 7, 2026, the active connection address had moved to play.groovemc.org, while the groovemc.fun domain remained associated with the server's store and earlier address. The server had also developed a broader survival package around economy, jobs, land claims, mcMMO, PvE, and roleplay.
During summer 2026, GrooveMc adopted new-season branding for the 26.1+ era and was running on Purpur 26.1.2. It now offers a protected Java SMP where survival building sits alongside custom activity systems, rank rewards, quests, and a small-community progression loop.
