Global Towny centers Minecraft around founding towns, expanding nations, managing land, and building a long-term economy. Its first season combines protected Towny settlement play with quests, jobs, RPG skills, factories, custom items, player trading, and a separate PvP war zone, while a web panel lets players manage parts of their town and market outside the game.
What Makes It Different
Global Towny treats its website as part of the game rather than only a store or news page. Players can inspect shops, manage town finances, review plots, follow battle-pass progress, participate in property trading, and handle political or siege decisions through web tools that connect back to the Minecraft world.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Founding towns, managing plots, collecting taxes, forming nations, and building protected settlements are the server’s central gameplay loop.

Players can also develop pets, cosmetics, minions, custom tools, armor, and other items beyond vanilla Minecraft.
The server adds more than 200 machines, over 500 custom items, custom mobs, blacksmith equipment tiers, pets, minions, furniture, cosmetics, tags, dual-horse support, custom fishing, and a server-wide dragon-slayer encounter. The optional GlobalTowny client bundles server-specific modules, performance tools, HUD features, shaders, and visual utilities.
Global Towny divides play between a lobby, a permanent Towny main world, a scheduled-reset resource world, and a permanent war zone. The main world is intended to preserve towns, borders, roads, and player builds rather than routinely resetting them. A browser-based 3D map shows towns, terrain, and construction from above.
The dedicated war zone separates high-risk combat from ordinary town life. It has permanent PvP, loot drops, kill rewards, and a leaderboard, while the wider server roadmap includes scheduled sieges so attacks can be arranged around a defined window. PvP-related client features and combat information are also included in the optional custom client.
Players earn money through jobs, quests, selling resources, shops, auctions, and other server activities. The server includes an auction house, categorized GUI shops, a player market, a quick-sell hub, and a web-based trade search. A separate coin currency is sold through the store and can be used for crate sets and player-market trading.
Supported activities include the dragon-slayer boss event, fishing tournaments, war-zone activities, clan challenges, seasonal battle-pass objectives, and launch-period rewards. The server also advertises weekly events and prize activities tied to its Towny, PvP, and economy systems.
Towns, nations, alliances, player shops, and planned parliamentary voting give the community shared political and economic roles. Players can use the official Discord for support and server communication, while web profiles, town pages, rankings, and market tools connect community activity to the game world.
Cheating, exploit abuse, harassment, spamming, and attempts to disrupt the server are prohibited. The published terms state that serious violations can result in permanent account termination, and the in-game /kurallar command provides access to the server rules.
The official store sells timed ranks, crate keys, coin bundles, boosters, cosmetics, season-pass products, flight permissions, and permanent gear sets. Rank perks include extra homes, auction slots, Towny plots, outposts, island area, flight, cosmetics, and convenience commands. Store purchases are delivered to the player's Minecraft account after payment confirmation.

History of Global Towny
Global Towny began its public rollout with the website, sign-up system, and 3D live map in August 2026. During September, the server added its Towny economy, tax and upkeep systems, SiegeWar, jail system, bridge support, and custom client before opening its public beta and launching Season 1 on September 28, 2026.
Season 1 is planned to run through December 31, 2026. Its roadmap includes town pages, a municipal management panel, nation diplomacy, property trading, parliament, and a scheduled siege calendar.
