About Furry Refuge
Furry Refuge centers on relaxed survival in a persistent shared world where players gather resources, build homes, claim territory, and decide how far to take the server’s added systems. KingdomsX protects player land, while MCMMO skills, an economy, and Slimefun provide optional progression for players who want more depth without requiring a client-side mod.
What Makes It Different
Furry Refuge combines a mostly vanilla survival experience with KingdomsX, MCMMO, and Slimefun while keeping the same world across updates. Players can stay with ordinary exploration and building or gradually add technology and kingdom progression without moving to a separate modded client.
Slimefun is a server-side Minecraft progression system that adds technology-style items and machines to survival without requiring a client mod.
Slimefun adds server-side technology, machines, and specialized progression without requiring a client-side mod.
mcMMO is a Minecraft server skill system that grants experience for activities such as mining, chopping trees, fishing, and fighting.
MCMMO provides activity-based skills and perks that develop alongside survival play.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
Vanilla survival remains the foundation while optional plugins add protection, skills, technology, and economy systems.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server centers on gathering, crafting, building, exploration, and ordinary survival progression.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
KingdomsX protects player territory and manages permissions within claimed areas.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Players share a multiplayer survival world while developing personal homes and community projects.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The same world and established builds are preserved across updates, with empty land regenerated for expansion.
The server keeps ordinary survival at its center, then adds KingdomsX land protection, territory banners, MCMMO skills, an economy, and Slimefun technology. Create a kingdom with `/k create`, customize its territory with `/bm`, use `/sf guide` to learn Slimefun, and cooperate with allied kingdoms through commands such as `/k ally` and `/k home`.
Progress comes from the usual survival path of gathering, crafting, building, and exploring, with optional layers on top. MCMMO improves activity-based skills, Slimefun uses experience to unlock technology, and kingdom upgrades use Resource Points. Voting also provides rewards such as emeralds, healing, and LuckyBlocks.
KingdomsX adds protected kingdoms, territory management, alliances, home teleportation, banners, and kingdom upgrades. Slimefun adds technology, machines, and specialized progression without requiring players to install a client-side mod. MCMMO adds skill levels and related perks.
The main world is intended to remain persistent across Minecraft updates. New releases are supported by regenerating empty land rather than routinely replacing established builds, and an interactive map helps players explore the shared world.
An in-game economy supports ordinary survival trading and server rewards. Voting grants emeralds and other prizes, while Resource Points help kingdoms unlock upgrades and perks.
The server is built around Furry Refuge’s furry community but welcomes anyone. Minecraft chat is connected to the wider community through Discord and Telegram, giving players ways to talk outside the game and follow server activity.
The community uses a three-strikes approach and prohibits spam, trolling, unsolicited advertising, harassment, doxing, and disruptive drama. General spaces are kept suitable for broad audiences, while adult discussion and imagery are restricted to designated 18+ areas.
Support is handled through Patreon membership tiers. Supporter benefits include community roles, priority game-server support, and Minecraft donor ranks or perks at higher tiers.
Kingdom upgrades improve a shared group's capabilities, infrastructure, or strategic options through collective progression.
Kingdoms use Resource Points to unlock upgrades and perks, giving group progression a layer beyond individual survival development.
Kingdom alliances are formal or informal partnerships between organized player groups for cooperation, diplomacy, or mutual defense.
KingdomsX lets players ally with other kingdoms, creating a structured cooperation layer between separate protected territories.
Voting rewards give players recurring in-game benefits for supporting a server through designated voting links.
Voting can provide emeralds, healing, and LuckyBlocks as additional rewards alongside the server's normal survival progression.
