EnglishAbout Doofus SMP
Doofus SMP gives survival Minecraft a player-politics angle. Players build and explore across several worlds, organize into factions such as towns, cities, empires, or clans, and shape their own place in a shared community world. The server supports both Java and Bedrock players, so groups can play together across editions.
What Makes It Different
The server combines faction-led survival with multiple worlds that have different stories and features. It also includes a Minecraft-style r/place world, giving players a separate shared canvas alongside ordinary survival building and faction activity.
The server’s identity and main gameplay center on shared survival multiplayer with player-built bases, communities, and ongoing world activity.
Current descriptions identify survival as the core experience, with players gathering resources, building bases, and developing communities.
The main experience is survival multiplayer with player-built bases, communities, and factions. Groups can organize as towns, cities, empires, or clans, while commands such as /home and /spawn make it easier to manage movement around the shared worlds.
Progression is largely player-directed. Players develop their own bases and communities, gather resources, and strengthen a faction or settlement instead of following one fixed minigame ladder.
The server adds proximity voice chat and practical commands including /home, /spawn, and /sit. These systems support communication and movement without requiring a custom client mod or launcher.
Doofus SMP has multiple worlds with different stories and features. One world is described as a Minecraft version of r/place, creating a collaborative build space separate from the server's ordinary survival areas.
PvP is part of the faction-focused experience, with rival groups able to compete for influence and attempt to take control of parts of the shared world. The exact rules for raids, territory, and combat should be checked in-game before committing to a conflict.
The server maintains a Discord community for announcements, coordination, and player discussion. Faction play gives groups a reason to organize beyond individual survival bases.
New players are instructed to read the server rules and verify in-game by standing on a golden pressure plate before continuing.
