DexMasters turns Cobblemon survival into a checklist-driven adventure: build a Pokémon team, choose a type-themed Origin, and work through research tasks, bundles, and gym challenges. The shared world adds protected claims, player trading, building-focused mods, and optional proximity voice chat, while the required Fabric modpack supplies the server’s custom content. It suits players who want a social survival world with more structure than a plain Cobblemon install.
What Makes It Different
Type choice changes more than cosmetics. Origins grant themed buffs, drawbacks, and abilities, so a Dragon build can trade hunger efficiency for permanent elytra and ranged firepower while Normal acts as an opt-out. That system sits alongside Legends: Arceus-inspired research ranks and Stardew-style bundles, giving collection and completion goals beyond catching Pokémon.
Cobblemon is a modded Minecraft experience where players find, catch, train, and battle Pokémon-like creatures while exploring the world.

The required Fabric modpack combines Cobblemon with MegaShowdown, AllTheMons, type-based Origins, Simple Voice Chat, Emotecraft, Farmer’s Delight add-ons, Macaw’s building mods, Xaero’s Minimap, custom regional Pokémon, modified recipes, custom music, and other server-specific content.
Terralith generation and additional structure mods create a broader exploration world than standard Minecraft terrain. The spawn is built into natural terrain with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon-inspired construction, and Open Parties and Claims lets players protect chunks, share land, and customize permissions.
Players can earn money through mining, selling Pokémon, the GTS, advancements, and other server activities. ChestShops, PlayerWarps, server shops, and player trading give the economy a social layer, while in-game items are also used for systems such as Legendary Summoning.
Monthly themed and unthemed tournaments, Pokémon outbreaks, themed distortions, and periodic chat trivia give the world activities beyond ordinary exploration and collection.
DexMasters uses Discord and optional proximity voice chat for social play. Community feedback shapes additions such as gym types and custom regional Pokémon, while player-run gyms, ChestShops, PlayerWarps, and shared building spaces create reasons to interact in the world.
Land protection and access permissions are handled through Open Parties and Claims. Store purchases are tied to the buyer’s own Minecraft account, cannot be traded for in-game benefits, and are generally non-refundable.
The store sells cosmetic skins, prefixes, ranks, and related perks, along with server-wide shiny and breeding boosts. Paid ranks include visual tags and convenience features, while some purchases activate temporary global rate boosts for everyone online rather than granting a private item or Pokémon advantage.
