Crazy Fools UK has kept the same survival world going for years, and the rules promise it will never be reset. Old builds stay where they are, the map stretches at least 30,000 blocks each way, and block changes are logged so griefers get caught. You can join right away, but you sign up on the website before you can build.
Outside survival there is Designer, a creative mode with your own flat world, Challenge, a hardcore mode with one life, and History, where you can fly around the community's old maps. Java players only.

Survival is the default world. The Overworld has no griefing and PvP only by agreement or in marked areas, while the Nether is open for PvP and griefing. Chunks in the Nether and End that nobody visits for 12 months can regenerate.
Hidden extras include Sky Lands 2, reached by climbing to 10k height, and Winter World V2, a snowy wasteland found through an emerald portal.
Emeralds are the money. You keep them in a bank and use ATMs made from blast furnaces to deposit or withdraw, then buy from shops other players run.
New players start with 5 reputation points. Breaking rules costs points, and helping others or hosting events earns trust over time.
Be respectful, no griefing or breaking into builds in the Overworld, no x-ray or hacks. Farms that cause lag need an easy off switch, and inactive builds are not removed.
An online map of the survival server shows the builds of the whole community.
The RTP tent and a bell at spawn send you to a random spot in a huge world.
You build a shop from a sign on crying obsidian and sell items for emeralds from your bank.
Anyone can log in, but you register and activate an account on the website before you can build.
In the Overworld you fight only by agreement or in marked areas, while the Nether is open for PvP.
The site says the server is not pay-to-win, and kits and materials are open to every player.
Emeralds sit in a bank account, and blast furnace ATMs let you deposit or withdraw them.
Chest protection keeps your storage safe from other players in the survival world.
Designer mode gives every player a flat blueprint world, and others enter only when invited.

History of Crazy Fools UK
Crazy Fools UK opened its survival server in August 2010 and has kept the same world ever since, which makes it one of the older Minecraft communities still running.
Over the years it has added and retired side worlds. Water World and the original Sky Lands are now part of its past, while Winter World V2 came back in 2021 as a snowy wasteland. For the community's 11th birthday, Sky Lands 2 returned using the original 2011 world generation code, reached by climbing to 10k height.
